Re: How many games yinz been to?
Right, the Chan Fuckin Gailey game. Steelers have 2nd and 1 inside the Denver 35 about three minutes to half, up 14 to 10. Elway on the other side line. Run the fucking ball pick up the first down exhaust the clock go in at half up by at least seven points receiving the second half kickoff. Kordell...

Re: Caleb Johnson is now Milton with the Red Stapler
Drafting a RB when we had Warren, Gainwell, Lew Nichols, and that other guy that previously played for the Niners was just dumb. We needed a WR (badly) at that spot and instead burned it on a mediocre RB. Was easy to see both Nichols or that other guy would have given us better quality carries than...

Re: Day 2 and beyond
Cameron Heyward, set to turn 37 in May, has agreed to a new two-year deal with the Steelers worth $32.25 million, source confirms. The first year is guaranteed. The move keeps Heyward in Pittsburgh through the 2027 season and frees up about $5.5 M in cap space. https://x.com/MikeDeFabo/status/20315...

Re: Rico Suave Dowdle
So Gainwell was not retained and signed for 7 per w Bucs And we replace him for 6.12 Interesting MVP wasn’t worth the 880,000? What am I missing Sometimes the player wants to move on for any number of reasons that aren’t always financial. Maybe KG wants to play where he isn’t in someone else’s shad...

Re: Rico Suave
rb should be off the draft list now I'm with Jizz. Still draft an RB late or pick one up as UDFA. Kaleb Johnson has shown absolutely nothing as an NFL player, his roster spot is not secure. The story was that some inside the Steelers want Khan to trade up to get Kaleb and were amazed when he was st...

Re: Malik Willis
Don't think they would be out of the market next year for a QB, unless Willis turns into "The Guy"....won't really cost them much if they ink him to a 2 year deal. Right. If a QB they really want falls to them at 10 or 20 or wherever they are next year, they'll take him unless Willis has convinced ...

Re: Malik Willis
In my opinion he's the best option for the Steelers, I would sign him to a 2 or 3 year deal tops, if he flames out next year nothing really lost, draft a QB in 27 and move on, they will have plenty of cap room, but if he hits then you could be right back in the conversation for being a really good ...

Re: AR Returning ?
Because those are the choices. If the Steelers don't sign Rodgers, they're going to sign a retread. They might roll with Mason, but unlikely. They're not going to go into the season with Howard as the presumed starter- no team would at this point. Maybe they'll take a QB high in the draft this year...

Re: AR Returning ?
Are you talking about Rodgers here or Willis? If 4 years from now we're watching Willis as a Steeler running an anemic, inept offense for the fourth year in a row because the FO won't move on from him despite him not being very good, we're all going to be wishing they had signed Rodgers for one mor...

Re: Top sorting events you've seen live
Top sorting events you've seen live: Top 3 1.) August 12th, 2007 as Excel introduced the 1,048,576 row limit in the xlsx files, I gathered several large CSV files and appended them all, and put on the auto filter and hit the AZ sort button! It was a magical! 2.) Fort Hood mail room 1998! I asked to...

In addition to all that, I think people see one good game and think that automatically means he could string 3-4 of those together [in the playoffs, no less]. Are you talking about Rodgers here or Willis? If 4 years from now we're watching Willis as a Steeler running an anemic, inept offense for th...

Re: AR Returning ?
I agree that watching Rodgers hobble around for another season won't be very interesting or compelling football. But I bet he doesn't make it through the entire season, so at least we'd probably get a look at Howard or a rookie for a few games. My issue with Rodgers is this: will he quietly step as...

Re: AR Returning ?
I agree completely, as I said above, that I dont want WIllis, Tua, Murray, Fields etc .... and can live with a one year vet instead I guess. I would prefer they just run with Howard and some general back-up but do understand that Rooney is unlikely to do that. Watching Rodgers at the end of the yea...

I mean, it doesn't really matter. Cousins and Arod are the same dog, just have different fleas. Re: Revisiting Milledgeville and the HOF
This will hurt Ben in the near term. Not as much as the perception that he's a clear step below Brees as a player. Which has always been fascinating to me. TBH I don't really care about Ben's getting in on the first ballot. Or if he gets in at all. I think if Brees had joined the Steelers in 2004 a...

Yeah joey missing a screw or 3 but I don’t recall reading anything scathing Ben said about Tomlin that would set him off. Ben put out a podcast late in the season (maybe after loss to Buffalo) saying it was time for Tomlin to move on. That might have gotten under Porter (and Tomlin's) skin. Yeah I ...

We need a high variability season. High chance of being great and finding the franchise QB and high chance of completely flaming out. Calling Malik Willis. Of all the QBs available via trade, FA, draft, he gives you both the best chance of 14-3 and 3-14. Lots of amateur scouts on this board that ha...

Unfortunately Ben won't make it 1st ballot HOF I think he will because no QB but Brady are going in 2 years. Yes, it's now all about who is new in your year. The big names are Adrian Peterson, Gronk, Ben, AB, & Andrew Whitworth. Whitworth will get opposition since Willie Anderson isn't in yet and h...

Green Day was WAY better than Bad Bunny. You are correct about the Grandad rock timeline. I agree, and I think Green Day should have been the Halftime show, but I have always liked Green Day. Goodell's thinking is wrong but here it is in a nutshell: Old white guys like us are going to watch the game anyway and skip the halftime show unless its a Dad Rock act but that will alienate the prized gullible 18-35 demo that advertisers crave. ...
