Re: Tomlin gone? - Florio claims Tomlin will discuss future with family after season

It's wild. As between the LSU (fucking Louisiana!) fans I interact with and the Steelers fans I interact, the Steelers fans are by far the most pearl clutching when it comes to having the audacity to interview a Black person.

Re: Tomlin gone? - Florio claims Tomlin will discuss future with family after season

Brian Flores will almost certainly be on the shortlist, and he'd also be my top choice to replace.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tomlin ended up stepping away. A lot of smoke, and 17 years or whatever is a long time.

LSU's top target for open DL coach job. Heard this for a little bit now but now a few of the media "insiders" running with it also. Us making playoffs complicates things. Re: Steelers at Ravens Game Comments & NHALS Watch

Anyone who came away from this game anything but impressed by pickett’s poise and play making, and especially about his future, has an agenda.

Perfect no?
Improving? Massively.
Clutch in big moments.
Some absolutely elite throws especially on the move.

Re: Pickett’s First 4th Quarter Comeback Victory!

Kenny Pickett is going to be fine.

Y'all are so dramatic.

This team is talent depleted everywhere on offense. Pickens is our only genuinely above average skill position player on offense. Almost none of our OL would be starting on most other teams in the league.

@Steelknife not sure we can entirely trust your take on UGA players since you are a Bayou Bengal.
LSU was in the thick of the Pickens recruitment battle and if I recall there was a lot of behind the scenes drama and intrigue with that as well.

Pickens was a steal. IMO most talented WR in the draft, but for injury. He has that dog in him, but also that diva. We're going to love him for the 3-4 years we have him, if he can stay healthy. I don't quite understand how he was downgraded in the draft process for his injury. Jameson Williams tor...

Force Burrow to be patient and throw to the middle of the field. Two things he doesn't like doing in the pros. He'll learn, but if you force him to do those things, he'll make some boneheaded mistakes.

Reports about Tomlin being a candidate for the USC job too.

A lot of odd smoke that you didn't hear about Tomlin in previous years. Can't imagine he'd leave but find it interesting.

By the way, if footage exists of Ed Orgeron trying to pick up women at a bar (or anywhere, really), please God let it come to YouTube.
There was a pic or pics of him in bed with someone, but I don't believe that scratches the itch you've got.

Re: Doug Whaley: "Could see" Tomlin leaving for USC or LSU

Ed Orgeron, two seasons removed from a National Championship, is fired. Mike Tomlin, three shaky playoff wins in the past 12 years, has more job security than the Pope. And we’re supposed to believe that Tomlin is leaving Pittsburgh for LSU? Uh…no! While I agree with your conclusion, Orgeron was fi...
