Re: Hoffman signed
I live about 45 minutes from Beaver Stadium and have seen Ioane on several occasions. If the Steelers can get him at 21 they will be lucky. This dude is a big as a house and as good a pass blocker as anyone in this draft. He needs a little work in the run game but I'd take him at 21 in a New York mi...

Re: Top 10 Pittsburgh athletes all time
Every time some one puts together a list like this, I feel blessed to have seen many of the greats, Clemente, Stargell, Mean Joe, Mario, Sid etc. but regret the fact that I never had a chance to see Josh Gibson, the Waners and many others. At the very top of my regret list is Honus Wagner. My grandf...

Re: RIP Bill Maz
i was a 10 year old 5th grader at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School on the North Side the day Maz hit his legendary homer. The school principal, Sister Fabian, had specifically told us the day before that we were not permitted to bring transistor radios to school to listen to the game. Several of...

I didn't think that the Cardinals had anything to do with this hiring but I've been wrong before.

Re: Tomlin is gone - Official!
Had my head in a bunch of papers at my office when my son called me with the news. After I got off the phone I literally had to tell myself that it was not a dream. No more Tomlin. No more Arthur Smith. No more Austin. Maybe I am dreaming! Time to celebrate!

Re: Serious Question: Why Has Dylan Cook Been 4th String?
STD is absolutely right. NFL teams invest serious money in high draft picks. Guys like Dylan Cook are incidental. The thing is, when it is time to stand and deliver, a few of these "incidental" guys show that they are more worthy to be taking snaps than the Broderick Jones' of the world. Teams that ...

Re: They have to start Cook
New guy here but old steeler fan...Definitely have to start Cook v Detroit. I've looked at the tape until I'm blue in the face and it is clear that this guy knows how to jam up the edge rusher. Why he was 4th string is a mystery to me.
