Re: Let's Go Bucs 2024!

I’m bullish on the Bucs this year. I think we may see some October baseball this season.

Re: Mason gone?

$3.6M is pretty decent backup QB money. That is almost exactly what Gardner Minshew got from the Colts last offseason. I think most of us can agree Rudolph cemented himself as a pretty decent backup QB option. It should be no surprise this is the payday he got. Not a surprise to me. I said all alon...

Re: Per Schefter: Russell Wilson is a Steeler, signs one-year deal

I think this will work well. Not Super Bowl well.. but maybe at least playing a competitive playoff game. Russ is going to be motivated to resurrect his image. If I’m Russ I see that Dollar Maximus contract with Atlanta and I’m thinking there is another huge payday waiting for me if I can just play ...

I read somewhere that the Vikings won just ONE MORE game in his five or so years there than the five years before he arrived. He got around $200 million..... Don't forget his Redskin franchise years either, dude made bank before he signed the big one with Minnesota. Now another $180 million with At...

Yeah.. I’m assuming his contract might have claw back provisions for some of his signing bonus which would allow for more offsetting than just the normal base salary stuff.

$100k is peanuts in the political world. You needs millions. A lot of federal seats in not very competitive districts spend less than $3M. The average for the House in 2020 - actually the #217 (so roughly the median of 435 up for election) was just under $2.5M $300k for a state seat would put you i...

My hot takes : 1. The Bear is the most overrated TV show ever. Enjoyable if you enjoy personality disordered morons yelling at each other. Would not be so highly thought of if it were not culinary. 2. Las Vegas was 10x more fun and more fair under the Mafia than under corporations. 3. Rye and singl...

Pabst… we see eye to eye on politics for sure. If Trump really cared about Making America Great Again he’d step a side. He doesn’t care about America. They should ask to interview everyone on the Ravens staff. Partly just to fuck with them. Could do that with the Bills too. A little petty gamesmanship would be fine with me. Anything that signals the organization is going to stop being so nice and not be constant pushovers. If Deuce grew balls that...

Newsflash.. NFL officiating is not good and horribly inconsistent. I can understand players being frustrated. We as fans certainly are. But the refs were no worse this game than any other game. The Steelers special teams, especially the kick blocking units, have been the best component of this team going back several seasons. Tomlin making more than Reid is also kind of misleading. Reid was signed to 6 year extension which is really the only reason his contract has a lower AAV than Tomlin’s. I don’t see Tomlin getting a $60 million commitment from the Steelers like Reid did.
