Re: Steelers RB tandem ranked last

Not having Ben last year likely played a major role in the group's under performance last season. With that said we don't have a true RB1, but I'm fine with that. I prefer RB by Committee approach utilizing different skill sets. I'd rather tie capital up on a dominant OL than at RB. Bell was great, ...

Re: Madden 2020 champ Cowhers to Victory

So I don't care for sports video games, I prefer shooters or RPG. But this was a pretty interesting article about someone winning through road grading and R, R, R playcalling. As a Steeler fan I found it familiar and pretty entertaining. here is the video [youtube]https://youtu.be/F_HMautfP5c?t=629...

Re: Colin Cowherd

This narrative that Ben is washed has really taken hold. People have some really fuckin short memories about what the dude does on Sundays. Solid narrative if you ask me. I hope the media continues to beat that drum because I know Ben works better when he's out to prove something. Same way I love w...

Good post and totally agree.

As for baseball. I think we're seeing some of the best baseball in a while. A lot of young, exciting talent coming through the league right now. Plus, you have the modern day Mantle in Trout who at this pace might go down as the best or top 3 of all time.

Re: How big of a role will Ryan Switzer have in 2020?

My background noise is sirens as I live 50 yards from Mount Sinai Queens. Ok. So I'm not the only one that noticed the sirens. Since there is little truck traffic, cars, etc, the sirens last a Long Fucking Time. I can hear them for what feels like 2 minutes. Each. And it's happening more often then...

People have much cooler lives than I do, it seems. I went to Home Depot and got a replacement 100 ft hose, changed the spigot and the hose. Made lunch for the kid who's e-learning just now and then I will have to go outside soon and spread Snake Away all over our yard. I've been seeing WAAAAAAY too...

Finding out from my old colleague who is a massive Baltimore fan. He was expendable after they acquired Campbell and Brockers.

Steelers Trade for DL Wormley from the Rats

Trade! The #Steelers are finalizing a deal to send a fifth-round pick in 2021 to the #Ravens for DL Chris Wormley and a seventh-round pick in 2021, source said. A rare intradivision trade. As @MikeGarafolo said, Wormley on the move.

Sometimes people go off the deep end. Sometimes it's celebrities and sometimes it's normal folks. Impossible to tell whether this is sincere or not, but I'm hoping it is. AB was a Steelers legend before this shit show began.

AB didn’t burn bridges....he nuked them. Ummm, yeah. Guy can't even apologize or try to mend fences without taking digs at Ben and JuJu. There's no way he's coming back to PIT, other than for camp to make Hard Knocks interesting :D https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/steelers/2020/02/06/antonio-bro...

His team got hot at the right time. I still cant believe these defenses, so geared for the pass they cant stop the run. Career backups like AJ McCarron, Chase Daniel, and Chad Henne are all making at least $3m/year. For all his warts, Winston will still be coming off of a 5000 yd and 30 TD season. He's not going to sign somewhere where he'll be a backup (and paid accordingly). If they go sign Winston, then there's n...

I don't think this ever really pertained to the offense. It was more on the defensive side when Lebeau was around. Once he left and the old guard changed over (Troy, Farrior, Hampton, Smith, Ike, etc,) we had no choice but to put the young guys in. There weren't many spots for young guys to play for...

I gave Tomlin the benefit of the doubt yesterday in saying I thought Berry just panicked. This has to be the worst call I've seen him make. Nothing about that situation dictated a need to fake a punt. It quite possibly was the least optimal play you can run in that scenario. He should count his bles...
