Washington. 3 targets, 2 catches for 34 yards and that great TD where he refused to be tackled, kept the play alive, and willed himself into the end zone. The one catch he didn't make was a great play by the Safety, they get paid to make plays too. I think the guy continually gets better each and e...

Re: Game Ball - Bud Dupree

The Steelers are usually good at planning things so that only so many guys' contracts are up in a given year so they can take steps to resign them. How did we get into this mess of having so many guys up at once? One "problem" was having a good draft. Conner, JuJu, Sutton, Dobbs all come up at the ...

Have the game on in the background and not watching attentively, but the browns are looking decent.

Gawd the bengals defense sucks. What, four of five browns possession ends in a score?

Always a good time to bring up Mark Madden's greatest column ever:

- Ike Taylor is the worst draft pick in Steelers history
- Alonzo Jackson fits like a hand in a glove
- Steelers gave up too much to get Polamalu

These takes aged like milk in a sauna.
Does that make it cheese?

Did he actually discuss this with Tomlin or is a Tomlin covering AV’s ass? Who knows. Tomlin sounded genuine, and went into a good bit of detail that would lead me to believe they did have a conversation. Not a good move to cover-up the name, though. And not good to break from the team like that. I...

Lev Bell placed on IR with a hammy. Coach says he'll be back in a few weeks. Last year was a bust, and now he's out in the first half of the first game. Niiiiiice. Anybody still want that fucker back? I'm not so enthusiastic about Conner. Like I said in another thread, conner was methadone to bells ...

It’s been one game guys... You gotta cut us some slack. We actually have a real, bonafide, HOF SB winning QB. And he played like one (well, for a half at least), with a top five defense. Last year was a cluster fuck on O. If they went 8-8 last year, the sky's the limit this year - as long as ...

James Conner was methadone to Lev Bell's heroin for the first year and a half. Now that the steelers got the monkey off their back, they can move on to Snell/Samuels/McFarland territory. I guessing that's not gonna happen the second conner is cleared to play.

Yeah. I don't have one lick of worry about BR. He looked sharp as hell last night. Some of the earlier throws were forgivable under the circumstances - first game back, jitters, etc. I think I heard it reported that the only other time he felt the same butterflies in the stomach was when he was in c...

I have no worries on the offense other than the front line. BR seems to be back to his old self, and his throws were crisp and on target, and had the light touch when necessary. Some of those throws were perfectly placed. I recall the Ebron catch - a bit high and away from the defender where only Eb...

At this point, I'd throw in some mcfarland. A bruiser and a speedster. Add some watt. Conner just didn't look good at the beginning of the game, but the o line wasn't doing him any favors from what I could tell. The o line got smoother in the second half, I think.
