Re: CF college championship week
The "Notre Dame Rule" apparently going into effect next season is ridiculous. Maybe if they play at least 5 top 25 teams in a season instead of scheduling the worst teams in every conference... who really gives that much of a damn about Notre Dame in 2025 that we should be making special rules for ...

Re: CF college championship week
Vanderbilt would've been fun to see in the playoff, and while I think JMU has run a helluva program for awhile (this year's bid maybe more of a lifetime achievement award type deal?), I agree that both them and Tulane in the playoff may be a bridge too far. Vandy was enough of an upstart, feel good ...

Re: Fuck You Haters!! Volume III
I know it's wrong because losses will signal the end of the Tomlin Era faster than wins will. But on gameday, I cannot root for the Steelers to lose. I don't get all fired up if they win, and I don't get fussed when I have to miss games anymore. But come game day, I cannot root for losses. Especial...

I would love for the Steelers to win a Super Bowl this year.
I would also like a Ferrari for Christmas.
I just wish I didn't know which one has a more realistic chance of happening.

Harbaugh deserves a nod here, as well. When the game was on the line, he put the ball in the hands of Lamar and his skill position players. The refs took care of the rest. That on a day when his team had run for 200+ yards on the ground. The amount of respect they showed a guy elevated from the pra...

well, aside from being rickrolled :D lots of interesting songs in here I definitely didn't have Ice in the Wham camp lol On real options- a few songs not played at every other stadium- and would serve the purpose to get the crowd wound up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4bgXH3sJ2Q https://www.yout...

No Lamar just means a steadier dose of Derrick Henry vs the Steelers run defense. Odds of a loss could actually be better.

Yes. The $10M was fully guaranteed. Gotta love a fully guaranteed contract for an old, clearly washed (no Iggles fan was mourning his loss, believe me) CB. Great pro scouting and contract savvy right there. Jibbs has always had a thing for guys he got a chubby for during the draft process. He’s als...

Tomlin is going nowhere!!! Get used to it! LMAO Why wold anyone with half a brain get used to it. Holy shit. From 1933 to 1969 is 36 years. We're only about halfway thru the drought. So around 2046 the Steelers should be starting their 2nd dynasty. These things take time. I know some people w...

A little less experienced than some on here, but the last time the firing chants were this loud was the "Joe Must Go" ones at the end of the Noll Era, right? Imagine having that on your resume trying to make a HoF. Equally or less popular in Pittsburgh than Joe Walton.

Adding more moving parts to this dumpster fire, especially at a tits on a boar useless position like WR2, seems moronic, but I can see it as a desperate stab at saving NHALS. Rooney's clueless. He'll say yes.

Harrison has been absolutely and deservedly unhinged during this collapse. He may drive to Tomlin's house after another game or two.

First a shout of "Orange Mocha Frappucinos!" echoes through the stadium over the PA, then "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" blasts through the speakers.

It still strains credulity for me that, when it really came down to it, an NFL GM, with NFL ownership signing off, with access to all the research materials available, would have actually given up assets for Tomlin at any point in the last 5 years.

If I have to choose, it's Weidl, but I'd rather a fresh start, with a fresh Rooney to boot. If that changeover isn't accomplished, it's going to be more of the same.

Don't have much to add, one too many glasses of rye during The Game, popped a bottle of Piggyback for the occasion, and really only watched that one, particularly once Pitt/Miami got out of hand. Thoroughly enjoyable dissection of the Team Up North, and so stress-free that the dog napped peacefully ...
