Re: No 5th Year for Harris
Unless Art Smith alters his offensive approach somewhat significantly for Najee's benefit, Warren is better built for it, and I'm not sure Najee is a special enough player to warrant major scheme changes. If Harris watched any tape of what's coming, he probably knows it's soon time to move on. Take ...

When you consider how and where they were used, that 77% for Harrison is pretty damn impressive.

Re: 6-Pack of Positivity From B2B (you may want to sit down for this)
It's been since been debunked by Najee and his agent, but if I was an NFL player, and I said it, and it got out, it's exactly the quote I'd want my agent to debunk, so not entirely sure what to believe there. Either way, it was a good move by the FO. Great post, B2B, especially on QB flexibility aft...

So, what you're saying is, we're collecting tiny slot receivers for an offense that barely puts slot receivers on the field. Four dimensional chess, indeed.

Who the fook is that? He's Roman Wilson's brother from another mother. One of these prospects below is Scottie Miller and the other is our 3rd round pick: 5106 185lb... 4.39 40yd 1.51 10yd... 4.07 SS... 6.89 3 cone 5091 174lb... 4.36 40yd 1.51 10yd... 4.02 SS... 6.97 3-cone Oof, now that's a low bl...

Re: Off-season theory - What if...
Fields is the best prospect we have had since Big Ben. If Tomlin can't develop him, then it might be time to move on. This is a real life preserver after the horrendous reach for Popgun Kenny in 2022. I'd say he's the highest drafted prospect since Ben, but I'm pretty sure Troobs was a #2 overall p...

Re: Pick 3.84 Michigan WR Roman Wilson
Is a penis just a penis, or is it something.... more? That's the question that is still lingering with the Roman Wilson pick. Is he just some some flaccid, spark plug slot receiver that maybe pops for an occasional big play? Or can he grow? Can he evolve and transform into something new and beautif...

Re: Chark off the market
Steelers continue to paint themselves into a very expensive corner at WR... or trot out Quez Watkins. With the pre-draft restructure cash, and what they had before that, they could have very likely matched or improved on the dollar figure. I still think they're not ready to go rookie QB yet, roster...

Re: No 5th Year for Harris
This sums it up and it's also why I believe Diontae Johnson is gone. Diontae Johnson and Najee Harris are good players. They aren't special in any way. Nothing about them is special. Khan and Weidl are trying to build something special in Pittsburgh and they know both RB and WR can be upgraded and ...

Re: No 5th Year for Harris
Can’t ignore the Oline he’s had in Pittsburgh. Thinking the Oline just was tuned up and upgraded…. How much better will he be capable of being? Najee is a good back. No question. If attrition football was still the way the game was played, he might even be considered a great back. Unfortunately, it...

Re: No 5th Year for Harris
We all know the offense Tomlin wants and has been moving towards for over a decade. He brought in an OC that runs what he wants. They drafted an oline to run it. The only real chance to make it anything more than a nine win, one and done offense is to have a great back, especially with the lack of ...

Re: Bmac launched a rumor a playmaker in the works
I don't recognize these Steelers. After this offseason (so far), it's been clearer to me Khan/Weidl have more personnel power, and Tomlin now has less (or at least influence). Which is a step in the right direction from the relationship (err...influence over) Tomlin had with Colbert in his last han...

Hoping we're not giving up too much. Draft capital is going to be important if we're going to be franchise QB hunting in the near future.

Sutton would make a decent #2 WR, but you're right, I wouldn't call him a big playmaker. 10 TDs last year definitely eclipses DJ's production in that department, though.

Re: Steelers UDFA’s signings
I have no clue why you would give your highest signing bonus ever to a QB who can't be a QB in the NFL. Do they want to create some sort of HB/RB role for him? Fwiw, they gave the previous "highest ever" bonus to that RB that didn't make the team last year, so it really doesn't matter that much in ...

This draft is LOADED at CB. I wouldn't stress not getting one in the first. Or second. Or even third. There will be really nice options available at 4.119 on Saturday.

I have this totally insane theory that Wilson is going to turn his career around and we are going to have him as the starter for the next 3 or so years and compete for the AFC title. The Lions made St Brown the highest paid WR in the NFL 4 years $120 What’s Aiyuk going to want? Save the draft pick Save the money Draft a WR rd 1 Drama always on the money.
