Re: McFadden 2005 divisional game @ Indy

That first Troy pick was a 50/50 call. Yes, his hands were underneath, but the ball was definitely squeezing out and hitting the ground.

What was the ruling on the ball contacting the ground during a catch at that point? The NFL has updated the rule about 10x in the years since.

Interesting size on that jersey. Thanks for letting us all know you're morbidly obese.   True but it doesn't mean that is the jersey on the way. Could be just a stock image. It is a stock image. I still run five miles nearly every day. Smallest size available on NFL shop and fanatic...

Re: Full stadiums in September

By all accounts a massive state with TONS of visitors from all over the country has done a great job with managing the pandemic. The interesting thing is we never heard a thing about the state other than how reckless and stupid the governor was acting back in March. When that didnt play out in Apri...

Re: Full stadiums in September

I'd agree with those statistics For those that care, this is called the Pareto Principle. Or, more simply, the 80/20 rule. It can be found in all kinds of places. Ex: 80% of tweets come from 20% of users. 80% of drugs are consumed by 20% of users. 80% of wealth is held by 20% of the population. Yea...

Re: Full stadiums in September

I'll say 70% of the populace is going to act responsibly. 30% will be careless and / or selfish morons. I've posted this before on this board. A retired black cop wrote a piece on vox about good cops vs bad. He suggested 15% are good, and 15% are bad. The rest of the 70% follow whoever they are par...

Re: What will the NFL season actually look like.

I friend of mine had sent me that article. My response to her was headlines are meaningless. What is the data? If the number infected remains the same but testing increases we should expect an increase in the number of "new cases". Having said that, I'm still social distancing. You can find the dat...

Seriously, other than the...one individual in particular...who the fuck is lying to you??? Any comment on KC's article showing how the number of cases and deaths in Texas is on the rise? That was the result of a huge increase in testing and a one time inclusion of positive antibody tests. Numbers f...

Oh, there's no law but go ahead and eat those nuts you brought onboard yourself, after they tell you someone on that plane has a nut allergy. You'd never, ever do that. Why? And if you want libertarianism, isn't Somalia a good choice?
TBH, i'm not in the mood to continue this discussion (sorry), but i do want to address this one - I love it when a failed Communist state is used as an argument against libertarianism :D

Owning your own business and being forced to shelter in place isn't taking away any rights? Or are you talking about other dumbfucks? Plus, if for example you're allergic to nuts, then YOU need to own your management of that risk. There are reasonable accommodations people can make to help, but it'...
