Re: A Steelers preview and prediction

The Steelers are capable of beating all of those teams. But they are also capable of losing to any them. Exactly. And while a positive spin can be applied to finishing 8-8 with wretched QB play, one could also point to the year prior when the collapsed down the stretch with Ben behind center. The d...

Re: Steelers Broncos 1997- GREAT GAME

This was a great game. The problem is that when we had to face them in the AFCCG, the Broncos obviously decided Thigpen was not going to beat them again, and they double covered him all day. Kordell was exposed as rather than just being able to throw it up for Thigpen all day, he had to get the ball...

Juju is a 2x Pro Bowler with 2 1,000 yard seasons under his belt, and isn't that much older than Claypool, who has yet to play a down in the NFL. He blocks like a crazy person, has chemistry with Ben (not a ton of that in this group) and is great in the room. He already IS a star player in the AFC ...

But now you can’t hit punt returners immediately after they catch the ball and you can’t hit a KO returner on an attempted onside kick as he tries to catch the ball.
You have to let them catch the ball?

How are States actively suppressing the statistics? If anything the death counts are being inflated. And the evidence for that is what exactly? States are actively suppressing the statistics and keeping test numbers low, that's for sure. The only way we're going to know what's happening is when people you know start to get sick or die. Or maybe nothing like that will happen and another 100,000 will die just for the hell of it. How are Stat...

That "notice" was served by the Chargers and Titans in his two playoff games. Let's see him lead a team with his passing once the run has been stuffed before crowning his ass.

Re: Why the Steelers did not draft a NT

We couldn’t stop the run last year vs the Raven’s backups with Hargrave. We weren’t very stout against the run then and likely won’t be now. Best way to solve that isn’t with better defense but with better offense. Meh. I think the last game of the season was an outlier. The D looked good vs. the r...

I thought it was just for this season in the event they can still have playoffs this Summer. Kind of like how in the strike-shortened 1982 NFL season they had extra teams in the playoffs.

Effectively maybe BUT the Ravens imposed their will they ran for 200 plus yards on a "highly ranked" defense. This is what we used to do a long time ago. We had a chance and we got owned.
