Can no more lose no games
Or something like that. The old timers on this board going back to the Stillers.com days may know what I am talking about.
There was an epic thread in '05 that was started at 7-5 and went all the way to the Super Bowl win. It had all sorts of good Karma in that thread but the person who started it wrote the thread title in such a way saying we cant lose anymore it was really funny. Any old timers remember what I am referring too?

I remember it,but forget the title of it.
This time though, Steelers CAN, most likely, lose another one...
Still think the Bills are gonna lose four in a row...provided Steelers beat them.
And SBI is Texans over Colts on Thursday.

Is it panic mode yet?!Who’s left? Steelers running out of players and time
The Steelers added some depth in the wake of the injuries, signing rookie wide receiver Deon Cain and rookie running back Kerrith Whyte Jr. to the 53-man roster and placing wide receivers Quadree Henderson and Amara Darboh and running back Ralph Webb on the practice squad.

You guys are getting old. You could be referring to the thread that made FC famous. Or perhaps, more recently, the one where I said the team wasn't going to lose again and made bets they wouldn't lose again in the regular season. And won.
I'm not going near that prediction with a pole until Mason gets benched.

There is no way the Bills lose 4 in a row. They're more likely to win 4 in a row.swissvale72 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 12:02 pmI remember it,but forget the title of it.

They have a decent D (who also seems to have the book on NE & Brady more than most others) and they have a clutch QB. They may look like dogshit for 3 quarters... they are winning most of the time.

Here's the four games:
*At Cowboys on Thanksgiving
*Ravens in Buff
*At Steelers
*At Patriots.
IMO, game they're most likely to win is against Steelers.

This team isn’t a pimple on the ass of the 05 team. Not the staff, not the players, nada.
We could win out and it’ll mean nothing more than getting an extra week of football.
Welcome for sure but ultimately meaningless as this team has zero shot of winning an AFCCG or SB. None. Zippo.

I tend to agree, '95....and I know I'm being unreasonably optimistic, BUT...with this D....they could go into KC, or Texas, or....Baltimore....and win. Only place I would have ZERO confidence in them being able to win, is Foxboro.955876 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 7:57 pmThis team isn’t a pimple on the ass of the 05 team. Well maybe if the D can pitch a shutout.
Worst Steelers offense in a loooong time we got going right now.
And if Mason is having a hard time pushing the ball downfield while the weather is perfect I can only imagine the dink n dunkfest thatvwill occur when it gets cold.

Buffalo had Pats beat in BUF if Allen doesn’t get hurt. Ravens run game will be a tough match for Bills, but they’re a tough out at home. I think Bills beat PIT and NE.

Shit I remember 2004 on Stillers...great article by SteelPhantom about how the Steelers totally went away from what made them successful against the Pats on Halloween and went totally safe in the AFCCG because they made the classic mistake of trying to protect a late-season struggling Ben by trying to hide him. Back before Mill melted down and there was a whole staff full of great writers on Stillers.bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 1:45 pmYou guys are getting old. Well..., I hate to say it because it doesn't sound good.... how can they keep winning anything or expect to win when they can't stop becoming injured? Seems the injury bug is voracious this season. Talk about the walking wounded.TOMLIN’S INJURY UPDATE
“We have three guys who are in the (concussion) protocol, and the protocol will run its course. We’ll wait to get word on their availability as we begin to push through the week – those players are Ola Adeniyi, Diontae Johnson, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. JuJu also has a knee injury, but the protocol is the first and foremost of the things he’s dealing with. We’ll take a look at the knee injury and his ability to function or not as he gains clearance through the protocol and gets potential practice opportunities.
“James Conner re-injured his shoulder in the game. Don’t know what his availability might be this week. Really, practice availability and functionality will be our guide in terms of his participation (in the game). Artie Burns had an in-game knee injury that appears to be minor. He will be limited (in practice) in the early portion of the week, and we’ll let that be our guide in terms of his participation (in the game).
“L.T. Walton has a knee injury, a meniscal tear that needs to be repaired. That’s going to be done, and if it hasn’t been done today, it will be done shortly.
“I’m excited about the potential return of Benny Snell, who’s coming off a knee injury. He has been cleared to practice this week, and we’ll get him on the field and see what he looks like. Not only in terms of his health, but a young guy like him who has missed a block of time, we’ll be focused on his ability to execute and execute in great detail. And so he’s got a two-pronged thing he has to answer – not only health but game readiness from a detail and knowledge standpoint, which is a reasonable process for a young guy.” https://www.steelers.com/news/tomlin-s- ... ate-nov-19
Adeniyi seems to be injured all the time. Am I wrong on this one? I did not know Walton tore his knee up. Didn't even notice him Thursday night. I guess Isaiah Buggs is going to get snaps this next game. There is no one after Heyward and Alualu at DE...not how this season was envisioned I'm sure.

For a non-starter very part time player it is alarming.Adeniyi seems to be injured all the time.
Wouldn’t trust him at this point.
Difference between hurt and injured. Some guys are “injured” when in reality they are hurt.

Geeking on the ESPN playoff machine, as long as we beat Cleveland we could conceivably slide in at 9-7. Cleveland is the most important game from here on out.
If we win out, we would probably get the 2nd Seed.
