Steelers Tickets - TB pre-season

Post by Stosh-67 » Wed Jul 31, 2019 3:58 pm

Hey brothers...........

I took the plunge and bought season tickets this year.

Not going out to the Tampa Bay game, will be on a cruise to Bermuda for my anniversary.

I am waiting to here back from a friend that may take the tickets..............

In the meantime...........

Anybody interested in being gifted 3 tickets to the Steelers vs. Tampa Bay game, first pre-season game on Friday night, August 9th, 7:30.

Let me know.

Section 524, Row F, seats 1, 2 & 3
North end.
6 rows up in the upper tier.
The row above the walkway, no ones sitting in front of you.
Do not have to worry about kneeing some Bucs fan in the head or spilling beer down below. lol.
Ushers usually do not allow people to stand in that walkway right below

I gifted the KC pre-season game to a friend and that was easy. You just need to have a TicketMaster account....or set one up.

I'm in NJ, 10-15 minutes out of city.........so a 375 miles treck.
I will be going to Seattle, Ravens and Rams game so far.
Friend going to Indy, Buffalo and Browns game.
Most likely will sell the 2 Monday night games back on ticketmaster.

Stosh.

Been on the waiting list for 18 years. My name made it to the top of the list finally. Got an email a cpl days ago. Shit seats available to purchase but none have a PSL option. Lame. Pretty sure I’m gonna pass this year. Guess you pass a second time and your off the list.

Do you want to pay a PSL? After 30 years I was offered 2-4 seats with a $4K per seat PSL, if it was no PSL I might of considered getting 2. But I said NO.

The PSL lets you pass the seat on to family when you are (for whatever reason; my aunt has, incidentally, chosen her passing as that reason) finished with them. Otherwise, the seats just go to the next person on the list. They have significant value. I'd wager the Steelers would love it if everyone would waive that right, but they're stuck with them. It's one of the things that keeps that waiting list artificially long.

Though, like "we've only had 3 coaches since 1969," I think the team enjoys being able to talk about their exceedingly long waiting list. The Pens, by the way, also love their sellout streak.

My son is 10. Going to his 1st game next week. I’d like the psl just to pass to him. Th tickets are upper deck, upper rows. Garbage seats. I inquired on better seats and if i start buying season tickets i can get on another list to relocate seats on a available basis blah blah. I’m going to pass.
Maybe jump on board next year.

I'd hold out for the PSLs. Our family has had season seats since 1933, and my aunt holds onto those PSLs tighter than the family Bible.

Wow. Thats awesome. I really want to pull the trigger on seats but 5.5 hr drive no way i could get to more than 4 games a year and the resale would never be there.

Having family around the city definitely helps. I live about 6 away, too, though, and those flex games have gotten me pretty badly recently. Tough choices.

SteelPro, I just wanted to say good on you for donating to Vettix and thanks for getting the word out on here. I'm a member of Vettix, but have never used them yet for an event, even though I get the offers. I try to pay my way while I can and leave the discount to the vets that really need it. I know a few guys that need the help and use the service. And they are appreciative! It's a worthy org and a good cause.

You’re welcome. And thank you for your service. What is nice with VetTix is that donors get a message a few weeks after the event with pictures and thank you notes from all the vets that got to go to the game thanks to VetTix. You can really tell how much they appreciate it.
