JuJu working on a "revenge body"

Nice to see the lad working his ass off in a contract year! But seriously I'm a big fan.

TL;DR version is he's been working out twice a day, 6 days a week since January with a trainer who is supposedly known for being brutally tough. Apparently, he's put on 9 lbs of lean muscle mass. And the trainer claims he's faster. I hope that's the case and he doesn't lose a 1/2 step.

Yeah, that fucker doesn't need more weight on him. Hopefully corners aren't any further up his ass this year.

2019 saw the offense lose 2, if not 3, generational superstars if one counts Bell's potential to return during his holdout weeks as a motivating factor to achieve without him for those in the 2018 huddle. For 2020, a return of developed talent to the most important position in professional sports (quarterback) will raise everyone's standard of play by at least two orders of magnitude. JuJu being physically ready to excel is a real good sign of leadership from him.

Don't want to shit on this thread, but look at this guy. A nurse who is built like a brick shithouse and was turned into a 98 pound weakling in 8 weeks.

Imagine that happening to football players.

Then we would have Todd Pinkston. A lot of them.

You didn't shit on the thread, but you also raised some interesting questions:

1) With his physique, you can reasonably assume there was some possible steroid consumption (which suppresses the immune system)?
2) As a nurse, was he taking on an excessive amount of viral load treating COVID patients (increasing vulnerability by orders of magnitude)?
3) Did he even need to be intubated (which is what really killed his muscle mass)? Recent research is suggesting that IV therapies and oxygen are much more effective treatments.

That guy's pain is real and it looks like he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The tsunami of medical research being conducted right now should make all of us reasonably confident that we will be able to prevent and treat cases like his much more effectively moving forward.
