1 Jones - has looked ok to good in the limited snaps he’s gotten. Wasn’t my first choice here but so far in very limited action he’s lived up to his billing
2 Peezy Jr - has shown himself to be a gamer like his Dad. Fits well with this defense. Some tackling concerns pop up but I get the feeling he will keep improving all around
2 Benton - Good but I had hoped he would make a bigger overall impact vs the run. It’s hard to lay that totally on him though. I think this defense would see a notable jump in performance if the Steelers draft a DL with some elite trait(s) to pair next to Benton particularly someone who can stay on the field in 2 down linemen situations
3 Washington - hasn’t been the player I had hoped for. Most of that I blame on the Steelers extremely limited use and below average aspirations. I still think he’s capable of dominate play
4 Herbig - hated this pick for several reasons. I was wrong. So far a very solid 4th
7 Trice - probably always gonna be an injury prevalent guy. At least they took a shot on upside in the 7th
7 Anderson - he made the team as a 7th round rookie. Supposedly has some position flexibility. 305 is too light. I don’t recall him getting any snaps yet
If Porter keeps getting better this draft is likely an A fairly soon
