Stadium tales

Post by swissvale72 » Mon Dec 04, 2023 10:14 am

Miserable fuckin day for sure at heinz field yesterday. I was regretting carrying a jacket with me as I was hobbling through the north side, having stayed at an air bnb on the Mexican war streets, but as halftime approached and the weather commenced, I was goddam faithful.

My two adult kids, my gameday companions, had sense enough to heed the stadium announcers warnings and seek cover in the concourse. Not me!!

The miz weather was only exceeded by the most miz of games.

I still remain cautiously optimistic that this steeler team will win next 3 games and be playoff bound. Shaping up as game of the year is the Saturday afternoon affair in Indy. Get after minshew, win that and Steelers should be in regardless of results of final two games.

Go ahead, bedwetters and sarcastic bitches, have at it!!

If I remember correctly, your son was a Steelers good luck charm. Did that wear off?

Apparently it has. He WAS 10-0 at one point, including some notatle games such as '08 AFCCG, '02 OT win vs. Browns, '04 Halloween game vs. Patriots, '05 Halloween game v. Ravens. He's 1-2 in his last few apperances though....maybe cuz he's not a kid anymore??

Thanks for memorializing one of the worst steeler nightmares in history
