More Debbie Downer Doom and gloom.

Jets offense is the same as last year and the difference is a guy making the right read pre and post snap and getting it to the guys who are open. Not some MILF hunter who barely understands the playbook. Didn’t see Rogers do anything but be a serviceable vet being accurate on throws to wide open guys based on scheme. His placement was awesome on those out throws NGL. But that happens when you see mainly man coverage or soft zones designed to support a run defense.

Our offense is a couple correct reads and penalties away from being a 24 ppg unit. Don’t need Wilson/Fields to be a Superman just see the things that are there and execute.

I’m not a film watcher but in the play recaps I see guys open and a purpose to the routes all over field that wasn’t there last year.

They’ve done a good job getting Fields out of that hero ball shit.

Unrelated to the offense comparisons- choosing Porter over Gonzales seems to be a no brainer now.

Same shit, different season.

When will it all change and stop living on it's potential.

You must have missed that TD throw Rodgers made that was as perfect as it gets. Fields simply can't do that, he doesn't have the physical and mental tools. He's more WR than Korky ever was.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

What's the basis for this statement? Has Fields ever played WR in college, or the NFL?

Is anyone really comparing Fields to Rodgers, or any other 1st ballot HOF level QB? If so, that would be insane. I do take issue with saying Fields doesn't have the physical tools to make elite level, highly difficult plays.

How could anyone who saw them; say the end of the 1st half, cross the field deep ball completion to Pickens against ATL, or the called back 40+ air yd pass to Pickens last week, weren't perfectly placed highly difficult throws, that not many Qbs in the NFL today could make.

Criticize Field's mental game during his play with daBears all day long, but I doubt there are many people saying he doesn't have the physical tools needed to be a high level QB.

This guy definitely isn't any Kenny Dickhead physically, or thus far as a Steeler, mentally either.

Possibility that the massively discounted salary could be a way for he and Denver to save face and so he could rehab at an NFL facility and stay somewhat in the public consciousnees this season?
And also provide a lot of fodder for mindless NFL talk shows about a QB controversy.

Something reeks from this whole thing.
I can’t believe the news about US and world current events, now I have to consider my football team news isn’t legit either?
