Looks like everyone’s fraudlin replacement is going to Da Bears….
A very good chance he will regret this.
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."

Rooney should have fired Tomlin in December and got Johnson in house
Tomlin PC 1/11/25 -“Don't blink. If you're a blinker cut your eyelids off"

If Art II AKA the FUCKING DUNCE had even a tiny bit of desire to win h would have unloaded the worthless cunt masquerading as his HC on Chicago and then hired Ben Johnson himself while arming him with the w draft picks he got for Jibbs.
Could have thrown in TJ and Minka to jar it even sweeter and to get Jibbs to waive his no trade bullshit.
Fuck, throw in Boz as well if that’s what it took.
This team isn’t winning shit for the foreseeable future.
I don’t care to see any amount of success as long as the fraud is running the show. It’s all smoke and mirrors anyways.
Most entertaining option at this point is for us to continue getting embarrassed.
That’s how gloom things are under Jibba. So bad that sucking worse is more entertaining than going 10-7 and getting smoked in the playoffs.
Fuck Art II. Lazy absentee landlord.
Who wants to bet Chicago wins a playoff game before we do?
I’ll do $1,000 right now.
I’ll do $1,000 right now.

That's an easy grand for you.
This franchise is closer to the bottom third, than they are the playoff teams.
Accepting perennial failure is how an owner kills a once proud, winning franchise.
Oh there are plenty of closet Jibba supporters still here that likely think that bet is crazy. They still foolishly believe the minuscule success we have is all a result of Jibba’s Jedi Knight coaching skills.Stillchest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:34 pmThat's an easy grand for you.

All likely to be too pussy to take the bet though.
I’ll sweeten it, $2,500

With Johnson in chicago now and it being a road game, the Steelers might get swept by the nfc north next year.
Hope we do.
We aren’t winning shit of significance with these dunces running the show.
Might as well enjoy being a bottom feeder.
I’ll certainly enjoy each loss more to an I will the meaningless victories.
Who here is chest bumping over our 10 wins this year?
Raise your hand.
Who here is saying “ya but we were a playoff team”??
Who here would argue with anyone that we were a serious contender?
We are a joke. Other fans know it. Other players know it. Other coaches know it. And other owners certainly know it. Evident by the fact not a single one has ever hired an assistant coach that “learned” under Tomlin.
It’s a shame that the fucking Dunce doesn’t know it. Nope. That idiot thinks he has Vince Lombardi, Bill Walsh, and Jesus H Christ all wrapped up into one walking the sidelines.

Can u imagine the haul we could've gotten for Jibba, Watt & Minkah. Then bring in Ben Johnson. The rebuild would have been alot quicker. That's what they were talking about today on The Fan in Pittsburgh. Chicago probably would of given 2 1st rd picks and a few more picks for Tomlin. Could of been a nice start for a re-build.gojira5150 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 10:57 pmCan u imagine the haul we could've gotten for Jibba, Watt & Minkah. Then bring in Ben Johnson. looking like Smith only hope at getting a HC job is with the Jets but might be involved in the next round
That's also not a coaching tree. It's a little debatable if you strictly go by the current and former position of OC to HC, and ignore that he was a failed HC before....I still wouldn't give Tomlin credit since it was only a year.steelmann58 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 1:17 amlooking like Smith only hope at getting a HC job is with the Jets but might be involved in the next round
If Scottie Montgomery takes over for Johnson in Detroit, is that the first Tomlin coaching branch?
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
Aaron Glen getting 2nd interview with Jets....Kodiak wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 2:54 amThat's also not a coaching tree. Woody Johnson and the Jets would be more than willing to take Cool Shades off the Steelers hands for some premium draft choices because they are fucking even more stupid than Art II, but Art II is too drunk on Tomlin.
#NoMoTomlin
I don't even believe that Tomlin will get another NHALS. Meanwhile, if you made it $10,000 to $1,000, it would still be a sucker bet. Clearly, I'm not a closet Jibba supporter & I thought when Ron who called MT a fraud from the earliest time & was called a racist that Ron figured it out before anyone else.955876 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:39 pmOh there are plenty of closet Jibba supporters still here that likely think that bet is crazy. Raiders are still gonna RAYDUH
Old man takes the helm
Old man takes the helm
Raiders hired Pete Carroll as head coach.
Carroll is the third head coach to be hired by the Raiders since 2022. He’s not getting the 10-year, $100 million deal the Raiders gave Jon Gruden back in 2018, but according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 73-year-old coach has agreed to a three-year deal with the Raiders that includes a fourth-year team option. After spending 2024 in the Seahawks’ front office as an advisor, Carroll is ready to take on one of his toughest challenges in decades — turning around a Raiders team that has just two double-digit win seasons over the last 22 years, and only two playoff berths over that span. He’ll have his work cut out for him playing in the AFC West, where three of the four teams cranked out double-digit wins to make the postseason, while the Raiders finished a dismal 4-13. Currently holding the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Raiders are in dire need of a franchise quarterback — whether that’s by draft, trade, or free agency. Carroll takes over a team that ranked 29th in scoring last season, and allowed the sixth-most points on defense. The Raiders are a long way from being competitive, but Carroll is undoubtedly up for the task.

Larry Foote might be going to Lions as DC.

With Bobby Slowik becoming available recently I’m almost jealous of the potential in available staff.
Raiders bringing in Carroll should workout. Carroll is a veteran head coach with solid coaching experience.
I would think the Raiders should be looking to pair Slowik with Carroll. Solid duo offensively.
