Re: Enjoy the weekend ballwashers?
You know, if you aren't personally going to Mike Tomlin's house tonight to throw trash on his lawn and take a giant shit on his front porch, are you even really a fan or just another one of those ballwashers?
Pittsburgh is 650 miles from my house so...

There is perhaps no greater display of Tomlin's approach relying on other teams to lose than this weekend.
I think the only thing that could save his job is winning a playoff game. Lose to BAL he's done. Get embarrassed in the playoffs, again, and he's done.
Maybe if they lose a close playoff game Deuce will find some excuse to bring him back.
Especially with it being Christmas week. Guarantee these chumps didn’t have a great week of practice.
And it will be the same thing next week. Why would they change the format.
The holiday eve falls on the same day…they deserve these holidays 95, it is not like they are highly paid specialized entertainers that are privileged to be doing what they are doing.
They are coal miners and iron workers with their lunch pale and hard hats, and they deserve these days off and a softer schedule for the week.
I always love how there's at least some segment of people who say it's not right that they have to play on holidays. This is probably some asshole who goes shopping on Christmas to the one retailer that's still open that day. Or you know, is oblivious to the thousands of members of the military deployed to Bumfuckistan or Shitholia working those days far, far away from their families.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 12:25 amGuaranteed.955876 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 9:36 pmI would bet there was a mindset all week (even if an unspoken one) that we’d be division champs before kick-off today..Kodiak wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 9:00 pm

But yea I'm sure plenty of the entitled cunt athletes hate having to work during the holidays.
What is a guaranty is that next week … they will play ball control O at all costs
Throw short, run, hope to get 3rd down conversion
When it’s all the line … it’s a stone cold lock Tomlin will embrace playing not to lose and predictable comfort

Guys, leave swissvale alone. He's done nothing wrong. He's going to be hurting just as much as the rest of us when the Ravens curbstomp the Steelers 42-3 next week.

He and his ilk enable the franchise to toil in mediocrity because they hold them to low standards. Half of us are hoping for that curbstomp by the Ravens. This team needs an enema. The Steelers crashing out of the playoffs would be a helpful step in that process.TimmayLake wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 12:54 amGuys, leave swissvale alone. He's done nothing wrong. We really don’t have to hope for anything. The Ravens offense even with a backup QB is a Ferrari and Aaron Rodgers will be driving a 92 Ford Escort.
I honestly will be stunned if we are within 3 scores.

We had loud Fire Tomlin chants echoing through the valley.
Then they make a come back and get a win.
Then today, they do this.
Fire Tomlin had an effect, but it was short-lived. He's back to not giving a shit, or he's doing it to spite everyone like him blowing kisses to his haters and fans.
It would be fantastic to finish the season with loud Fire Tomlin chants echoing through the valley as he struts and sashays off the field after an embarrassing loss.

You ought to consider getting as mad at Tomlin and Rooney for ruining the franchise as you are towards fans who point out their bullshit.

The reason we root for losses is because with enough of them, and with enough fans chanting fire Tomlin it will happen sooner then if we win. And even more so if we win a playoff game. That certainly gets this bafoon extended.
I don’t cherish one extra week of football so much that I’d prefer that over meaningful change.
I root for losses because each one brings us one step closer to finally being able to flush this turd down the toilet.
And I do so because I know with 99.99% certainty this team isn’t capable of hanging with the legit teams in this league.
You see how easy the Bears & Ninere moved the ball tonight.
That is what teams are doing.
Meanwhile in Pittsburgh, our idiot thinks today’s game wasn’t that bad because we won the turnover battle and he’s a team to under 20 points.
Nevermind the fact we only scored 6 while only getting into their redzone once.
This team isn’t capable of winning. So why cheer for that.
I want whatever embarrassing shit puts the most egg on Jibba face.
Guarantee Dunce hates hearing fire Tomlin boos at home.
Things go south Sunday night I hope he hears a lot more of them.

The only thing I'll say about Swiss is I think he underestimates what a real genuine backlash from the fans can accomplish. Steelers didn't fire coordinators, particularly mid-season, until they did. That was completely forced on them by the fan revolt.
We have a chance to see something special from my vantage point against Baltimore. If the game is competitive, fans likely suck it up and pull for the win. But if things get out of hand, things are going to get roudy. I wish that the people who attend the games had already seen enough to where they wouldn't need this game to bust out the boos and "Fire Tomlin" chants. But the only thing that will force change is the fans taking control and humiliating Art II in front of a national audience. It may take a few goes at it, but the fuck will cave. His white guilt will be overwhelmed by the embarrassment.

Hurting? Why hurt over something you know is going to happen.TimmayLake wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 12:54 amGuys, leave swissvale alone. He's done nothing wrong. He's going to be hurting just as much as the rest of us when the Ravens curbstomp the Steelers 42-3 next week.
If we surprise next week then itll be the week after.
Hurting happens when you know they are capable and have a chance yet come up short.
This teams is neither capable nor has a chance.
What hurts is that we weren’t put out of our misery sooner. And that is only because of
1) refs giving 1st Ravens game to us.
2) Dolphins quiting
3) Detroit sucking this year and getting bounced from playoffs. Hey maybe we should have hired Ben Johnson
4) Patriots tiring it over multiple times.
5) Colts turning it over multiple times.
This team could/should have 3-5 less wins right now and not even talking bout the playoffs.
Swiss certainly doesn’t understand this.CKSteeler wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 6:44 amThe only thing I'll say about Swiss is I think he underestimates what a real genuine backlash from the fans can accomplish. Here's where you're off base, 95, as per usual. I don't NEED an extra week of football, I DO like to see my team play as far into January as possible, and understand the simple equation that in order to WIN a playoff game, one must PLAY a playoff game.955876 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 6:47 amSwiss certainly doesn’t understand this.CKSteeler wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 6:44 amThe only thing I'll say about Swiss is I think he underestimates what a real genuine backlash from the fans can accomplish. I hope you're right about losses and boo birds spelling the end of Mike Tomlin's tenure. I really do. I've wanted this longer than most of you asshats. I just don't think it's happening. In fact, he'll be signing that extension soon, count on it,

We just think it’s foolish to continue to support a franchise that gaslights us and a coach that is stubborn, pig-headed, and overmatched schematically pretty much every week.
We aren’t winning with that.
I’d like to see them win playoff games too. And duh that you have to make the playoffs to win a playoff game.
We just know that even a playoff win isnt worth Jibba sticking around.
And if we win a playoff game, he will certainly stick around.
I want him and his foul stench as far away from this franchise as possible.
You do realize that rooting for losses impacts the game as much as you cheering for wins right? I mean, I’m sure you were rooting really hard yesterday.
How’d that work out for ya?
Where this matters is for those going to games. Tomlin needs to get boo’ed.
Seats need to be empty.
Opposing fans need to take over our stadium.
That happens I guarantee the dumb Dunce will get rid of the fraud.
