What's Morris over the last two seasons? Two games worse than Tomlin?

Maybe Morris can become our new DC, and we will lead the league in ex-Falcon coaches.

You laugh, but Raheem Morris is close to Tomlin and if he doesn't get hired quickly there is more than a good chance he ends up on this staff. Mediocre Mike loves him some Raheem, if I remember correctly played a part in him getting another head coaching gig. And the quest to find another Tomlin (yea, there was a point in time where teams actually wanted that) led to his first job.

My transplant hometown Atlanta Falcons are a hot mess of an organization.

They haven't sniffed the playoffs in 8 years...a mark only bested by the NY Jets and their 15 year futility.

As if Tomlin adding another buddy to his help puppet his defense isn't bad enough, WORSE would be adding Terry Fontenot in any capacity let alone to replace Andy Weidl should he move on for a GM job (perhaps the crappy ass Falcons give him a call).

A former Falcon triumvirate of Arthur Smith, Coach Rah, and Terry Fontenot infiltrating YOUR beloved Steelers is a very REAL possibility .

Y'all should be afraid

Kevin Stefanski‘s tenure in Cleveland is coming to an end. https://www.profootballrumors.com/

Looks like the stains are going to be in on the HC carousel this offseason….

Is Fontenot from Virginia? I think that will pretty much tell us all we need to know about his and our fates here.

Despite lukewarm reports over the weekend that Gannon might be safe, the Cardinals decided to move on from the 43-year-old coach after three seasons, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Arizona was 15-36 under Gannon in three years, including an 8-9 campaign in 2024. This year, the Cardinals finished the season with nine consecutive losses and losses in 14 of its last 15 games, making the situation untenable. GM Monti Ossenfort will lead the search for a new coach and is in for a busy offseason with the Cardinals also likely to move on from quarterback Kyler Murray.
all that posturing from eagles, cardinals tampering when this went down, Guy sucks at HC, lets be clear

I just hope our OC and DC do not get pilfered........
as we can not continuie to lose coordinators from this coaching tree year in and year out.

Tho somehow the reults stay the same.

Raheem Morris as an HC. Fucking fuck no.

Raheem Morris taking Teryl Austin's job? I'm mildly intrigued.

NO to Coach Rah in ANY capacity.

Babbling clown show.

Would be just another Tomlin windup toy.

Falcons' DC Jeff Ulbrich?

If he were free to run his own defense which derives from Robert Saleh's scheme then I would be "mildly intrigued."

I'm legitimately asking if this is a bad year to need a head coach?

The Titans have interviews lined up with Raheem Morris, Vance Joseph, Lou Anarumo, and Steve Spagnuolo???

Matt Nagy????

That's who they're bringing in to work with Cam Ward?

So if retread scrubs like that are interviewing is there any chance Arthur Smith gets another crack at it?

Man, I'd love to see the Fed Ex trust fund baby get shipped elsewhere.

BUT

THAT right there is what's so damn difficult about being a Steelers' fan.

I have a fleeting thought about ridding my once beloved Steelers of a subpar OC like Uncle Artie

THEN

It hits me (like a runaway Fed Ex truck)

Even if (when) he gets unceremoniously bounced by the Texans, I KNOW Mike Tomlin isn't getting fired so any new hires he makes will SUCK (see coaching tree re: Tomlin).

Thanks Deuce, ya fucking fossil.

and ... man the NFL does love it some re-tread coaches .... its insane how they recycle these same guys and same bullshit apporaches
they really may as well just get AI to do it -- get a sideline robot with the fake deep coach voice and endless platitudes

I saw that Titans HC interview line-up and thought the same thing - WOW. hence my post above.
These teams have to go outside the standard loop of bullshit

and I agree about that Atlanta staff -- if they all ended up here with Tomlin and some vet scrub QB ... i may take a sabbatical and fish

Could Kingsbury be a decent candidate?
One of the league’s top QB developers, Kingsbury has worked with Jayden Daniels and Kyler Murray in their OROY seasons and with Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech.

IF Artie Smith somehow exits the Steelers' building this offseason, you could do a lot worse than Kliff Kingsbury.

Wherever Kingsbury ends up my guess is he would NOT be there to coach Kyler Murray.

Murray already got Kliff shitcanned once. I doubt he'd hitch his wagon back on the Call of Duty QB who had to have study the damn playbook amendments made to his contract.

Well, our playbook is like 2 pages and written in crayon.

He’d fit right in here.
