I mean, if cignetti wins what is left for him other than bringing #7 to his hometown nfl team? Right?

Indiana OC Mike Shanahan would be an interesting OC candidate for the Steelers. He’s young, played at Pitt and had a lot of success at the college level the last 4 years as an OC.
I think Bain for the U is gonna be a game wrecker in the pros.

It should be way worse for the Raiders.
This is a 1980s style game. No passing game whatsoever. All about the trenches and who busts a big run or gets a turnover

That damn right side of the OL again.
Zero adjustment.

Imagine Tomlin calling that 4 and 5 conversion! Mike Tomlin TD every single time….aka Boz, Reid, Suisham!

That Mendoza’s pretty good.

Zero pressure on Beck. Better start calling some secondary blitzes.
He is pitching a tent before he throws.

Malachai Toney is something else. Reminds me of TY Hilton.

Some of us are watching different games. Mendoza hands off up the gut or throws a back shoulder fade. He hasn’t made any real plays aside from the keeper.
For those here that evaluate QB play, how often does Mendoza throw to a progression? Or does he roll out and throw to a predetermined player or first read 90% of the time. I’m way more impressed with the coachng than the QB. Then again I watch what’s actually going on.

That was so obvious. Should have pulled that ball out.

I have no real interest in these Hoosier WRs. Sarratt is an average athlete and most of his catches are back shoulder throws. Cooper is good after the catch and shows a lot of effort. Not sure he’s a great route runner, seems like a #3 in the NFL. Becker is big and makes some plays, decent hands. Again, not a separator more of a size reliant one trick pony.

Or not let him get on the field again.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Tue Jan 20, 2026 3:52 amZero pressure on Beck. Better start calling some secondary blitzes.

Fucking huge FS penalty. Of course, it had to be at that moment.

Too conservative? Not going to let the Heisman Trophy winner throw it on 3rd and 5 to ice the game?

He has all season to get another arm sleeve needled on instead of practicing.
Isn’t there a poster with that on?
When you are getting an arm sleeve tattoo, remember someone somewhere is practicing, and when you meet him, he will win

Mesidor and Bain are going to be players in the pros. Can’t wait for Toney to be draft eligible. He’s a game breaker. Hoosiers had great coaching. I’m not sure I see a future NFL Pro Bowler on their roster though I do like Carter Smith.

One of the proudest sports moments in my life. Ever.
IU is no longer a basketball school.

Mendoza is a gamer, but you do wonder if can get it done at the next level especially when faced with elite NFL pass rushes. Not his best night but Cignetti made some ballsy calls tonight. Kudos to him.
