Negative spin- Art II believes the bullshit that the Steelers are actually "competing every year' by going 9-8/10-7 and getting blown out in the WC round and wants to continue this

Positive spin- by hiring an offensive mind who is somewhat of a QB whisperer, McCarthy can help us find/develop a QB.

Will have to see what coordinators he hires and what players we get/keep.

But I'm out until something happens to pull me back in.

You know MM likes to call his own plays and not sure we have a top OC
Oh, I fully expect that OC will be just a name on paper with Smith gone. And Rodgers is used to hear plays called by McCarthy.

At least Mediocre Mike II is to old to coach the Steelers for as long as Noll, Cowher and Tomlin did. If he doesn't deliver I am hoping he'll be gone when Art II steps down.
Maybe The Steelers will at least hire a worthy OC and DC.
Other than that
YAWN................
Mike McCarthy is the oldest HC in the history of the franchise. Every other HC they’ve ever had retired before the age of 60.
