MARCH MADNESS: Favorite Ex-Steelerfury.com Poasters Nominations

Post by Obviously » Sun Mar 01, 2026 9:06 pm

Taking nominations for your favorite Ex-Steelerfury Poaster.

Criteria: All stillers.com and Steelerfury.com poasters who are no longer active. Active Steelerfury.com poasters are prohibited.

Examples: stillustronic, IronCity, SteelerAl, computerjumpstar, Steelers4Tim

Once we get to 16 poasters, we'll stop. I will create the bracket, and the voting will begin.

Prob Pittsburgh while in the collage.

Hi5 was ridiculously fun to laugh at with his couch monsters and all.

RIP Stillustronic.

Mad Chatter! What ever happened to that guy? I figured he’d have some good material on Tomlin last year. Must’ve been too busy making podcasts

Spiker has to be on the list. The Battles around those posts were epic.... not necessarily Steelers related but you could grab a bucket of popcorn and watch for days :o

I genuinely appreciate all the efforts of the recent crew, but no doubt there's a vacuum from the stellar contributions of Hardnose and FC ... However, the talents of both would've been mostly wasted, given the sad state of affairs of this franchise the past 8 - 10 years anyway. 😓

Miss old Hopalong too -- who was apparently an old-school Hollywood semi-celebrity fellow and *really* old already, when the spiraling Stillers.com broke off into the glory days of Fury. Last of the OG insider fans from the days of the Dick Groat Pirates and Bobby Layne Steelers, with first-hand accounts of drinking with the players and a fantastic telling of the complete day- and night-long bedlam in Dahntahn after Maz killed the Yankees and won the 60 series 😎

Not sure if the RIP Stillustronic above is a nomination, so let me make it official.

I nominate Stillustronic.

FC passed away?
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Lord, I hope not. I just miss the Gospel, with apologies to our current podcast staff, who also do an excellent game-week breakdown. The Gospel kept me at the old site while it turned into a cesspool, and the Gospel brought me to this one. It's been a fun ride ever since.

We had a great trinity with FC, Hardnosed and B2B with commentary and all. Those were good times.
