Now, I'm kind of high on Hoyer. I think he's better than a lot around here probably do. But!
Hoyer completed all of 8 passes in the entire game and 5, according to Depot, went for 24 yards or more. The D got gashed by splash plays. So much for keeping the big plays in front of you. Time to clean house.

I dont think anybody on this board has FACTS - just my opinion. I think LeBeau is a GOD in ART2 and Old Man Rooney's eyes and a lot of Steelers fans too - I think they would have a PR nightmare on their hands if Tomlin fired LeBeau.

Maybe Art2 says he will retire, then he goes to Arizona next year and wins a SB.

No disrespect intended, but there are very few (if any) people who can remain and perform at the top of their profession at 80 years old. Certainly capable and competent, but at this stage likely no longer an innovator or creative.

The defense sucks too.

The middle is as soft as Cam Thomas's herpes infested gut.
We have zero pass rush. Worilds will be lucky to get vet min next year. Jervis was starting to show a bit then got hurt. There's is no one else on the roster who can even pretend to have pass rush ability.
We gave a fat contract extension to a JAG corner who can't cover TEs, let alone WRs. Sadly, he's the best CB we've got. Troy is old. Mitchell was a one year wonder who tricked the Steelers FO geniuses.

Dick should retire for sure. But the defense isn't sucking because his scheme sucks. It's mostly because he doesn't have the horses.
