That was an awful game but it was 15-6. It was a close game that felt like a blow out.
This was as bad of an ass kicking as I’ve ever seen. We looked like we didn’t practice, have a training camp or played a preseason snap. We were disorganized, afraid, timid, confused and sloppy on both sides of the ball. Zero fire and zero passion.
I guess I don’t care it was week one. I’m embarrassed to be a Steelers fan tonight. So I guess I need to go eat my pubes?

Rushing 4 clearly ain't working.
Not when the secondary is giving free releases. Last season they played a mix of press and off coverage. This game? It has been the Dick Lebeau special: off coverage on every down. Edelman has not been pressed once.
That’s not exactly true. They played straight up man for the first half of the game. You can’t press the slot guy because he lines up off of the ball. The got killed by pick plays. Then they played zone and got picked apart. Then they tried anticipating routes to force a turnover and gave up but plays. They tried adjusting but this just in: that other team is pretty good. I guess shutting them down three games in a row was unlikely.
I’m not sure it would have led to a win, but even just catching the ball properly might have kept it a close game. Anyway, this is just like Philly in 2008. Has to serve as an impetus for doing something else, because that ain’t it.

Dupree nice missed tackle there.
I’ve been saying this is what they would do since the draft.

The offense they've implemented is a moronic disaster. Switzer ain't Edelman, and Moncrief isn't reliable.
Moncrief is an easy enough fix (but that will take 2-3 games, I'm sure)....but they've put in this short passing attack built on the premise that Switzer is something he'll never be. This offense is completely fucked for at least a month.

Pats don’t play a team that made the playoffs last year until week 9.
And they just won the Super Bowl. And they have AB now.
Ain’t this just grand?

Bet anyone this team doesn’t win 8 games.
I will take that bet.
Same. They’re a lock for 8.

I see 5 MAYBE 6 possible losses left. I wont be surprised if we go 11-5.
I agree with B2B.

This team believes Ryan Switzer is the next Julian Edelman.
There will be no playoffs for these turds.
You may want to bet on THAT.

If they clean some things up, they can win 10 games. Just not going to be NE. If they play like this, not many teams will beat NE.
KC with all their national love last year had the AFC championship game at KC and they lost. I hate looking at it like this but its just the truth. Losing to NE at NE is something just about every team in the league will do.
Watt and JJSS are hurt now.
This team has a GREAT chance to start something like 1-8.
I'm not kidding.
Wait, Watt played last night? That o-line with 2 makeshift starters abused both OLB.
Also, Can someone tell me what the heck Edmunds was doing out there? He was a step too late and took terrible angles on every single play. Just brutal...btw, the moment was way too big for Cam Kelly...never thought I would hope for Sean Davis to be on the field so badly.
