I would offer Harrison up to 4 million. He is THAT important.

I didn't realize Kiesel"s injury was such a long recovery.

Kiesel should look into that stem cell stuff. They are performing miracles with that tech.

No way. Injury history still an issue. Plus, Jones is the future. Harrison purely a wave/depth player at this point, and you don't pay those guys $4M. $2M maybe (in part as reward and recognition for what he did this year). Not sure PIT had much more than vet min to offer him, so would be interesting if there wasn't a gentleman's agreement for a 2nd 1-yr deal based on certain performance criteria.

Now, if they let Worilds walk it gets interesting...I don't think they will, and he's looking much more affordable than he was this time last year.

I'm hoping Harrison decides to come back one more year.

Very thin position and his presence provides stability as well as much needed pass rush.

Steelers are on the books for 9+ million for Worlids this year. He will sign and cost much less in 2105 or he will be gone. Plus we still have dead money this year for Colon that will go away. We can afford to make Harrison reconsider.

The money is definitely there. I just don't think it takes anything like $4M (unless Worilds walks - which I agree he probably won't) because he's not going to be the starter. He came to a desperate team this year for just vet min. Respect and acknowledge his contributions with something more, but it should be well less than $4M.

Something like $2M, fully guaranteed, should get it done. I'm sure Ben and others twisted his arm to come back, but IMO a guy that age can't do what he's done, almost from the start, unless he kept himself in top shape expecting to play this year. I view Deebo's comments about 1 more year mainly in the context of a prideful guy uncertain what he could do this year and uncertain about his status for 2015.
