One Hitter for High-smith?
“Being a fan is fine, but there is a line you can cross that makes it really unhealthy,” said Ken Yeager, PhD, a mental health expert in the department of psychiatry at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Bills 2nd teamers really had no idea what to do with Mt. Warshington in the EZ at the end of the half. His general enormous-ness pretty much got us a TD we had no business getting. Doesn't show up on a statsheet, but huge mismatch.

His call on Warren’s TD was a fumbled car wreck.
What’s his story again? Complete amateur.
*reserves the right to roots for losses*
Pretty sure he's just the KDKA sports guy and they gave him the preseason play by play.
I miss Edmund Nelson. Not a single mention of the annual Rib Festival in our only home preseason game... sigh.

Nice!
I further submit:
Watt + HIGHsmith as..."puff, puff, give....(then Herbig and Golden)....don't be Fuck'n up the rotation!....puff, puff, give."
I saw the HerBig and Golden OLB rotation referred to as .... The "Big Gold Package".

Just hope we don’t have to face Matt Barkley again
Shredded us pretty good
I mean we got 3 INTs off of him on 12 passing attempts but man did he light us up

Was surprised not to see those in any of the media grades of the game or the TE position today. Hard to mention the Heyward TD without that context.
As a side note, without Warren's 62 yarder, the RBs averaged a pretty sad 1.8 ypc on the game.

There was that Philly preseason game like this where Ike Taylor had a KO return for a TD. Last time I can remember.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 10:48 pmWe haven’t started a game this fast in 4 years; preseason or not.

As usual you and the other yabobs lack context
In the 1st half numerous times Barkley and the Bills made big plays in the middle of the field
I feel fairly certain that area will be a weak point for this team

The Steelers undoubtedly looked sharp and ready to roll… I’d say Buffalo wasn’t ready for that intensity. Maybe they haven’t been practicing at the intensity level the Steelers have? Don’t know. It seems like fewer and fewer teams play hard/at game speed in the preseason. I think it’s hard to do that and then turn it up week 1.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 11:03 pmMan, it's only a preseason game, I know it means nothing, but KP and co sure looked sharp.
Is Buff super rusty and sloppy or did legit pressure causes penalties?

You're still belaboring that? He had three INTs and a fumble.

Well, now that I know they're cousins, Warren can get the Parker treatment, too lolJobu wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 6:46 pmAre you taking away the long run? Just asking for a friend.

……….but sure am getting encouraged.
That TD to Pat was a throw him open big boy nfl strike.

I think this team took the shots to the gut they took last year personally, and came into the offseason determined to put in the work to improve and do better. It's been pretty visible across the board, really, and it was fun to watch how gelled and together this really very, very young team is last night. There were a lot of moments where you could have mistaken the atmosphere and enthusiasm for a college or HS team. Was palpable, and refreshing to watch.

I wasnt high on KP when we drafted him, but between the last few games pf last season and this pre season im close to being sold that we can do some playoff damage with him, im less sold on tomlin and canada getting out of the way enough to allow that to happen

There's never, ever been a question of Tomlin's ability to team-build and create enthusiasm--- that's his strong suit. Getting out the way on offense is the thing he hasn't 100% been able to do, especially vs quality opponents.Ice wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 10:33 pmI think this team took the shots to the gut they took last year personally, and came into the offseason determined to put in the work to improve and do better. I don't take much from the end of last year. It seemed like a team no one took too seriously playing hard for its coach vs beat up and given up teams missing key players. Sure, he made some plays no one can take away from him. Honestly, he's been more impressive in preseason, albeit with a teeny tiny sample size. The Tampa game, though didn't really show much. They're a terrible team. Buffalo looked like a good team not really playing/gameplanning like it mattered to them.Greeksteel wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 12:32 amI wasnt high on KP when we drafted him, but between the last few games pf last season and this pre season im close to being sold that we can do some playoff damage with him, im less sold on tomlin and canada getting out of the way enough to allow that to happen
And the playoffs are a long way off. But, absolutely certain that IF they attacked on offense like that in games that count, it'd be about 15 times more fun to watch them. But I remember an offense with the league's best OL, peak Ben, & AB/Martavis/Bell/Miller that rarely started games by attacking... they played attrition football except for when their QB was playing out of his mind and nothing else was working. Tomlin is going to have to prove that it's not a preseason tease, and he might even have to prove it in the playoffs before I believe.

If this had not happened then the stats would be different argument. It gets 'em 40% of the time every time......
