I didn't read through the whole thread here to know if anyone already stated this, but Arians has turned a team that was 5-11 in '17, 5-11 in '18, and
7-9 in 2019 into Super Bowl champs! This is his 2nd season. How long has Tomlin been building his team for a SB win? 10 years now and we have nothing to show for it! Now, one can say that Tomlin won a SB in his 2nd year, but he did so with a dominant D, one which the Bucs did not have in '17, '18, or '19. Something to chew on!

I will add, in respect to what KC could have done to help Mahomes, but for some reason didn't: this was a perfect time to utilze a back like Bell.

In the passing game, and also the run. His strength was always letting the defenders commit and making a move based upon their actions.

Now, it's entirely possible he's completely shot as a player- but I'd have been dumping off more passes to my RB- to slow that pass rush down.

Just some food for thought - The video linked below was published on January 1st (I may have shared it here, don't remember) and it pointed out where the Chiefs were vulnerable on Offense. The Bucs' defense did pretty much exactly what this guy observed. If you don't want to watch, here are the highlights:

- Mahomes has a bad habit of dropping way too deep in the pocket, especially on 3rd and long. Pass rushers don't have to worry about turning the corner.
- Chiefs have struggled against 2 deep safeties
- Chiefs offense is reliant on the big play. They make alot of mistakes, and struggle in the red zone
- At 11:30 in the video, he breaks down the adjustments the Bucs made in the 2nd half of their regular season matchup. It's exactly what they ended up doing in the Super Bowl.

None of that is relevant though.

Everything they did this year, is based upon the new QB.

I didn’t even know the score until now and I’m ecstatic that I missed the bullshit. I didn’t watch a game between the Super Bowls (Steelers) in 1980 and 1995. When Ben goes, I’m gonna call it a football life.

45 on the Bucs is a baller, that guy gets after it. Great player. He stood out.

Pierre Paul also played a helluva game, as did Suh. They absolutely hammered Mahomes. Cheap shots galore!
"I'm institutionalized, man," he joked. "I gotta have it. I just love the challenges week in and week out that this job provides: the growth in it, the collective growth, the individual growth."
