All I can say for sure is... Vince Williams is a long way from even being Larry Foote, much less Navarro Bowman. Maybe he will wind up to have a Pro Bowl ceiling, but I have my doubts. I also think, if Spence is healthy, he's the odd man out. We will see.

As to the fire zone stuff....I hate to say it but I think of BTSC as "Happy Pills and Pussies"

I do think PC did an accurate job of breaking down the assignments.

The happy pills part of it is Shazier and Tuitt. They seem to recognize the same redundancy with Shaz and Thomas as far as packages go. But they make this completely illogical leap of faith in Shazier being more able to make the right read in zone...if Thomas doesn't do it properly on the move after years of secondary play, why would Shaz who has played rush end, spied the QB and dropped into simple zones maybe a third of OSU pass plays?

And I really don't think Tuitt will force the G to stay engaged...not even sure Heyward would...it takes a jump like Mccoy, Atkins, Hatcher, to force that G to stick...I'm a fan of the Tuitt pick but he was single blocked in pass pro plenty last year.

And I'll take any bet on Williams making this roster...hell theres a chance of exploding knee bone putting him on IR if he is paired with Spence.

Williams and Spence would be the poor man's version of Timmons and Shazier. I think that gives them an edge.

Moats is versatile and can be a wave pass rusher at OLB. Garvin is another versatile guy who excelled on STs.

That's our top 8 of likely 9 spots.

To me, Zumwalt is severely underrated-- can play inside and out, has more capability to wear the green dot than any LB on the roster, probably more of a prototype pass rusher athlete than most of the LBs on the team. I'd bet he's going to make it somehow.

Chris Carter could easily get a spot because of the fear of not enough guys with experience in the system-- James Harrison could be signed as a surprise...

By my count, there's-- Williams, Spence, Zumwalt, Garvin, Carter-- 5 guys for 4 spots, barring the signing of Harrison. So'oto and Molls are on the outside looking in.

I like Zumwalt over Carter with Jones on the practice squad.
