Calling someone a racist is a huge deal. Do you really want to be the person that tosses that term around with no proof and trying to infer seven hidden layers of meaning in a word or phrase? I don't think that's the world you or anyone else wants to live in.
It's no different than what Myles Garrett did.
Fucking disgusting
This ^^^ exactly!
Garrett is a piece of shit and deep down inside he knows it, and he has to live with that. I can only hope he admits his lie and grows from his major character flaw, but I have my doubts.
As far as 95 goes, I've never felt he was racist -- but then again, some folks on here have tried to pull that same shit with me (although, via more veiled attempts).
What I do think I have in common with 95 is, through our varied life experiences, we are both very much realist. We "call a spade a spade." Rut roe

.... I just said what? This phrase itself is a perfect example of ignorant idiots that can't wait to throw out the "racist" card. I've grown tired of their simplistic whining (and it adds to why I feel Garrett (and Smollett) is a piece of shit). I've always known the true origin of the phrase, but was reminded of it by my pastor (not that I should have to mention it, but yes, he happens to be a black man, whom I admire) through his sermon, just a few short weeks ago.
By being, probably, the first person on here to call out Tomlin for being the BS artist that I'd come to learn (through first hand conversation with folks related to him and others that grew up with him) he is, I got plenty of flack early on -- some delivered by the 'your just a racist' idiots out there. As I've stated many times (although, I shouldn't have to if it weren't for those Smollett loving types out there) I was raised to not "see" color. Visually, I'm an uber-observant person, so of course I see color, but I don't judge or react to it. Oddly enough, my wife and I raised our daughter the same way, and I can only assume that's why her four college housemates consist of an Asian, Indian, Columbian and Pakistani/British combo young ladies. The one thing they ALL have in common is that they're all really good people -- something we, as a family, do place major importance on.
Are there racist people in the world? Yes, of course there are. Are there folks out there that throw out the unwarranted "your a racist" card all too often? You betcha. And in my mind, they're just as bad -- maybe worse (they say two wrongs don't make a right).
This ultra, scream in your face, shove it down your throat, anti-racist America we live in now is not the answer. And the media plays a HUGE role in this. But that's just my opinion.
Mods...wasn't trying to be political, but more so wanted to point out/add to what I see here in this thread, and how my my previous experiences compare with what it appears 95 might be going through here.
