Steelers at Chiefs Game Comments & Bedwetting
Re: Steelers at Chiefs Game Comments & Bedwetting
44 yards in 7 drives not including the last kneel down.
You almost have to try to be that bad.

Haven’t you heard, he’s a top 3 coach.
Everyone but the idiots here agree.
The Steelers are among the NFL’s worst teams in total offense (30th) and total defense (28th). Highest paid defense in the league by far. We are lucky to have Mike Tomlin.
The defense was very good early.

If it weren’t for the 5 drops he’d have at least 30 yards.

Then he should fucking refuse to run it. This is his last 2 quarters of football. If it's not him, he needs to take over the play calling this half and do it his way.StillerInCT wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:44 amA rookie Qb might be a better fit for whatever the fuck we're trying to run.RemoAZ wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:42 amYou know, we're all worried about a rookie QB next year but does it really matter? Do you need a talented QB to run this mess? Run, Run and either a jump ball or pass in 1.5 seconds in front of the sticks. How much talent does it take to execute that? We're seriously be better off running the wild cat with direct snaps to Najee.
I don't fault Ben. He shouldn't be running an RPO offense

You bring Ben back with a garbage oline and this abortion of an offense. Why? Complete organizational failure.StillerInCT wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:44 amA rookie Qb might be a better fit for whatever the fuck we're trying to run.RemoAZ wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:42 amYou know, we're all worried about a rookie QB next year but does it really matter? Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
Bingo.tbsteel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:45 amWell yeah, give Patrick Mahomes the ball 8 times in the first half after receiving the opening kickoff and going three and out, and the 2000 Ravens would get gouged at some point.Steelperch wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:42 amTomlin playoff D allows 29 points a game. That last TD was such a backbreaker though.
The D forced 2 turnovers, scored a TD, and held them scoreless until 5:00 left in the half.
The offense has 2 first downs and 44 total yards
Shitty Oline. WRs either running wrong routes, dropping balls, or not playing the ball in the air well. Ben going long on 3rd and short every time.

Top-3, at least, in Q4.
Not sure how you can explain it, other than a lot of garbage time. My only guess it it still goes back to the "limited playbook". That Q4 "offense" only has enough plays for 2-3 series. That's why they can't do that for a whole game.

Sad but true.
We need a completely different set of play calling in the second half to have a chance.

The defense is gassed and demoralized. They can't keep KC from scoring. Steelers won't be able to catch up down three TD's when we all know more are coming.Smashmouth21 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:46 amSteelers are a second half team. We know that. Offense has to wake up. Ben included.

Great defense.
Great punting.
But the offense needs show up.
Now that they are down maybe KC get complacent.
Let's Go Steelers.

Secure NHALS early and then go deep into the PLAYOFFS.

Watt has more offense than there 11 guys in charge of that.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:44 amSomeone refresh my memory
How many sacks/tackles does Low Watt have against a 3rd stringer ??

Seriously, what did they have to lose by flinging it downfield? Who cares if it gets intercepted and maybe there PI or less likely someone actually catches it.Jizz Mop wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:43 amThisOrangesteel wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:42 amHow fucking stupid is Mike Tomlin?
Can’t even get to half properly.
Just a complete fucking moron
Let’s kneel on it
Since TJ's TD KC has been moving the ball at will and they get the ball to start the 2nd half so a conservative approach ain't gonna cut it.

I can’t believe that they continue to dial up the same stuff in the same situations (two minute drill) and they think it will work.Stlcrtn1974 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 2:48 amThen he should fucking refuse to run it. Just enough points for the Chiefs to think they have the game wrapped up, but not enough to prevent the PS comeback!
Mike McCarthy sounds like a yinzer with a Texan accent.
