That's an easy call.
Roberts might have paralyzed that dude.
Not arguing but if the ball had been caught is it still a penalty?
When you lower your head and smash into another guy's head, you're going to get flagged.
If this were college ball, Roberts' day would be over.

Yes he’s a defenseless receiver

This league has been taken over by pussies. Will continue until everyone but the left wing woke freaks quit watching.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”

Honestly what the fuck was Roberts thinking? He lowered his helmet after the ball was overthrown.

I'm sorry, that's 100% of Murray, he is the one that put his player in harms way, sucks he got hurt but not sure what Roberts is supposed to do in that situation.

Notice the ref didn't throw the flag immediately, but once he saw the guy was hurt he tossed it.

That was a Deebo hit.

I miss hits like that
so do I, the removal of them is one of the many reasons I feel like a dinosaur fan with the way NY has been forcing the game to go over the last 4-6 years.

Defense is playing hard and stupid. Not sure whether to be excited or nervous.

If Pickett didn’t grab Cole by the facemask and read him the riot act, he needs to be replaced as well!

yeah, but I don't have to like that hits like that are penalties.
Been an NFL fan since 1970.
Hits like that are the reason Shazier and Stingley can't walk.
I mean, there are lot of pussy aspects to modern day football, but that was completely unnecessary and dumb by Roberts.
Cost us 3 points.

So offense going off today was:
Unrealistic
It’s early
It’s gonna happen

Funny how Steelers fans celebrated that sort of physical play for their entire history until the league legislated out a few year ago. Now those who buy into the given narrative are disgusted by it and would rather celebrate a 1 yard pass where the receiver runs safely out of bounds for a 2 yard gain.

So far a pretty competitive game.
Time to start scoring points.
No more low snaps.
Every game is going to be close, except when we get blown out. We don't have the offense - or the approach - to put teams away early.

I won't blame Kenny or Warren for that. Dynamic enough to give a shot there, always.
