Only if the QB is being pushed from behind? How about a Running Back that hits the line and then gets pushed by three Tight Ends? Where do you draw the line?

Serious question. Exactly how DO you ban this? Do you stop all support from friendly players while the defense can pile on and push back? Do you call the play dead when they're engaged and progress is stopped immediately?

I see people call for a ban, but what do you ban and how do you write it to allow for a player, be it QB, RB, Tight End or Wide Receiver from having the ball and getting assisted in a scrum situation?

Now, I'm not disagreeing with the early movement, that shit should be focused on and called... but if it happens after the snap, where's the illegality?
