Both nfl.com and espn are saying Pickett is in concussion protocol.
Are they lying like Cool Shades too?
How? He was cleared, until then he wasn't.
Has that ever happened before? Show me.
Ever hear of some dude named Tua?
He plays for the Dolphins.

Google his name! It’s being reported all over the place he’s in protocol! WTF is the matter with you?
Done. Argue with someone else who feels like wasting time.
When has that ever happened before?
I've asked you multiple times now. Either answer, or shut up.

I could have lived with a pass getting a 1st down to seal the game for the Rats. But a run , that everyone knew was coming , with the game on the line , that blew through a hole that big? Pathetic.

You forgot about Tua's "back injury" he suffered after his head slammed against the turf?
You don't remember him coming back in after he was stumbling all over drunker than shit?

What part of him having symptoms don’t you understand? The guy took a hard hit, was sent to the tent to be evaluated. He passed the questions part of the protocol. Went back into the game then self reported not feeling well. Physical symptoms of a concussion put him in the protocol and ruled him out for the game.

You threw out a silly supposition when the more obvious answer was right in front of you.
What?
I've asked multiple people multiple times. Still have not seen a definitive answer.
Tomlin just said, basically "I don't know". Take it to the bank he was benched, but they'll hide behind that to claim he wasn't.
If you can't follow this then you don't understand NHALS and what it means to Tomlin.
The obvious answer is concussions are not something that can be diagnosed in a snap.
He was cleared…it’s possible..yea, likely…he got worse after he went back in, and then they decided to keep him out for safety reasons.
Far likelier than thinking Tomlin gave up on Pickett because he looked shaky after only 11 plays…after four weeks where he looked decent to good. Especially since he’s gone through those shaky periods before and Tomlin never benched him.
Extremely silly to assume that…there’s no logical rationale for even assuming it.

Wut?
Tua was concussed and was allowed back into the game, girlfriend.
You forgot about that and got owned and now you're mad.
In fact, after Tua was concussed, he led the Dolphins to a win.

No.
Show me where a guy was cleared and then not cleared, in the same game. That Tua example is not concussion protocol.

I have zero doubt that 40 year old Ben engineers at least 3 more wins this season that what we have now. But hey, you hated the guy that brought us 2 rings. Go Kenny! Remember Ben tapping out when Ngata broke his nose? Me either.
Strawman that everyone who likes Pickett has to have hated Ben. It's not true, and I would wager most people just didn't want to see Ben and his legacy dragged down by this dumb fuck coaching staff and this awful line. I watched enough of what happened to Ben when guys like Dotson let free rushers through the interior. Given the concussion protocols post Tua, I would guess Ben would have been taken out of multiple games given the lack of protection received by NFL officials relative to other qbs.

He was good because he passed the test, until suddenly down 10-0 he didn't pass the test. If you understand Teflon Tomlin and NHALS, this isn't difficult.

Just because it hasnt happened before doesnt preclude it happening today, which it did. He cleared protocol but he felt symptoms after the next series. they yanked him after that. its not a mystery, or a conspiracy, he was blurry visioned didnt see lineman on his last incompletion. If theres a conspiracy its why throwing a qb to ground by his facemask wasnt flagged.

Remember, there are people on this board who think the coaches are keeping a guy who has now thrown 3 really bad interceptions in the game over the guy who was the starter because of performance..
Not only do they actually believe that - they most likely will double down and continue to defend that opinion instead of just saying "I'm wrong".
Yep... still happening

After the game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Pickett wasn't symptomatic immediately after the hit but did demonstrate concussion symptoms later, which is why he was able to stay in the game for that drive. Tomlin added he wasn't able to speak to what the process for that evaluation was like.
"When he became symptomatic, he was pulled from the game and evaluated for a concussion," Tomlin said. "I don't know about the sequence or the details of the sequence."

Yes, he came back in. My GUESS is he self reported after coming back in.

Later in the press conference Tomlin was asked about Pickett returning to the game for a series after the hit, then ultimately exiting for the remainder of the game. Tomlin said he became symptomatic, and it was enough for the Steelers to pull him from the game.
The paranoid style of posting is alive and well.
