Steelers WR Darrius Heyward-Bey suffered a concussion in Thursday's practice.
Heyward-Bey has a history of concussions, so he could have trouble getting cleared to return. The missed time puts his roster spot in jeopardy. Derek Moye will get an extended look in Heyward-Bey's absence.

One of those things that happens in the NFL business. Shaq Richardson kneed him in the side of the helmet while Bey was trying to complete a diving catch. Could be Moye/J. Brown one of only a few shots to impress and earn a roster spot. Next man up.

Unless he doesn't get cleared, I don't see this being much of an issue for a ST/5th WR guy.

What I saw of Moye looked like a tough tenacious kid that really wants it. I saw that in Ward as a rookie too. I prefer that in general over fat drunk and stupid. They say he isn't fast enough. Ward wasn't fast enough either. I'm not saying that he's Ward but in a way Ward is the archetype for Moye. If he truly has an opening I think he'll leave all out their on the field. I'll admit that I'm pulling for him and have been since last preseason when I saw him in preseason action.

My opinion of JBrown is also shaped from last preseason. It was all JBrown optimism last year and then he dropped a pass in the breadbasket. He turned into a puddle of goo which IMO was worse than dropping a pass. That showed a lack of mental toughness, sort of the anti-Ward. Then again if he's the best for the Steelers ..... SBI

I agree with everything here with the exception to his work history. All that I've read and heard in regards to DHB is that he has a good work ethic and is a solid team mate. He just can't catch a football.

Should have clarified, spotty as in drops; only attribute being speed and we.might have that with Archer and Wheaton. Adams is close to being a legitimate bust and if MM thinks he's regressing his roster spot should go to a kid like Danger or Jones who with one play on ST might change a game. There will be cuts and other guys as OL who can give you as much as Adams can.
