But but we would have had to cut Mcullers or Chickilo!!

How would the Steelers survive without those two??

Why give respect to an all time great Steeler for these future stars??

Not sure what game you are watching but so far I’ve seen him blocked by a RB and seen him miss like 4 tackles and he got abused on the Blount long TD run.

Not sure what game you are watching but on the TD run he was double teamed by a tackle and TE, so clearly he was the guy they wanted neutralized by 2 guys so someone else should make the play. I have seen him set the edge effectively consistently.

Just disgusting to see him in this game in that uniform. No matter how he performs.

He contributed the same to the Patriots Super Bowl win this year and he did to the Steelers'.

Every bit as galling for me as Woodson in a Ravens uniform.

Harrison chose himself over his team and for what? To lose a Superbowl, the respect of thousands of fans and tarnish his legacy. Fuck him.

I don’t think we should have cut him, but he spent as much time on his back today as he did being productive.

He’s a long way from being a Pro Bowler anymore. Let it go.

Harrison played, tonight, far better than any of our OLBers played.

I love Watt but he hit the rookie wall around week 12.

Dupree was terrible.

Harrison could have helped us.

A lot.

Not "way" better. Especially when you factor in the all around game. And I'm no fan of Bud Dupree right now.

Just because a couple guys here get their jollies off when Harrison got within the same zip code of a QB, doesn't mean he was good.

We led the league in sacks, for Christ's sake. But yes, lets spend the next 5 years bitching about the 39 year old linebacker we let go.

Cause THAT was our biggest issue from this season.

Harrison was the best Pats pass rusher tonight.

He creamed Foles twice (the first time he should have been flagged, Foles is lucky he still had a working leg).

He pressured Foles at least 4 other times.

Was he the James Harrison of 8 or 9 years ago? Nope.

Was he significantly better than both our OLB's near the end of the season? YEP....BY A LOT.

The Eagles scored 41 points tonight.

He was the best pass rusher on a team that had 0 sacks and was desperate enough to sign a 39 year old linebacker and throw him straight into a starting role.

Congrats.

I think you guys just like to whine. To be fair, you're getting damn good at it.

Not good enough to whine about things that actually have any real consequence, but don't let that stop you.

He was significantly better than what we trotted out there at OLB.

Showed he had plenty left in the tank. No other Pat front 7 player did ANYTHING.

How many did Jacksonville score against us? In Heinz Field?

OMG. He never creamed Foles. He fell at his feet once and the other was his only true pressure of the night and getting ridden 5 yards behind Foles while the QB throws a strike down field is not pressure...The rest of the game he was on the field.

Oh and how many points did Nick Foles put up against the Vikings 2 weeks earlier?

Who's the better QB, Blake Bortles or Nick Foles?

He wasn't significantly better than anyone. Dude couldn't cover me in the open field anymore. Better pass rusher than we had? Marginally, yes. But that wasn't really what we were looking for out of that position anymore. Do I wish we'd have found some spot duty to use him in? Absolutely.

But he sure as hell wasn't the difference between us getting to the Super Bowl and us not getting there.

So I look at people whining about it, and I see a bunch of children just looking for a reason to whine.

Have fun with that.

Yes I did thanks... Never saw Harrison "cream" Foles. I get you want to embellish his pedestrian performance but the truth is he did not.
