Who AB Cares About...
Is there anyone on the list besides AB???? What a POS, man. So disappointing...
Would be fun if they could get Ballers to do an episode on this....one that mocks and makes AB look horrible.

It's almost always about the money. No different here. All of the circles and claims of this, that and the other thing. Turned out, as usual, its about the money. He knew the Steelers wouldn't give him a new deal with 3 years left (particularly after seeing the Bell situation). Plus, the dude spends like nuts.

Time to run these greedy pigs out of town for good.
Him and Bell make me angry enough, but the pile of players and pundits on twitter applauding them for burning their teams for an extra 10-15% compensation are even worse
These guys not only are ha ging their teammates out to dry over incremental dollars, they sre also damaging their brands and hurting their ability to collect endorsement money down the road. The winners get those contracts, not the losers who only chase the short term money.
Neither guy is too bright obviously.
We will look back on this as a key lesson when JuJu and Conner are hoisting a Lombardi...

The writers would probably reject that idea because it'd be too over the top and unbelievable.

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

I've heard when someone tells you who they are, believe them. Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, Antonio Brown told us they were the Young MONEY Crew. I guess they weren't lying. Maybe not so much in Sanders's case.

Sanders got a ring and I think he looks at the game differently now. He understands the mountain is more important than the personal shit.
When someone says it's not about the money....it's about the money.
I don't get much right, but I called this one weeks ago. Not that it was difficult to see.
Knowing AB, I knew he would be butt-hurt by other WR's getting more money than him.
Of course, he didn't mind that measly contract back when it made him the highest paid WR in the game.
I don't even blame him for wanting a raise. He is the best WR in the game.
But acting like an immature brat and quitting on your team is weak and pathetic.
Maybe he would have more $$$ through endorsements if he wasn't such a turd.

That's what cracks me up about all of this.
Yeah, he may very well get a bigger deal out of this if/when he leaves.
But how much has he lost in sponsorship by acting like an asshat?
I know players get some of the money from their jersey sales. How much is that going to cost him?
He could have handled this like an adult, got what he wanted, and still kept all that other residual income. Instead, he opted to act like a child.

The term "opted" would indicate that AB has enough control over himself to make choices rather than acting on impulse. I'm suspicious that he acts on much other than impulse.

I wouldn't lump Emmanual Sanders in there, I think he's done more after leaving than he did with the Steelers, played with Peyton Manning and won a Super Bowl.

Haley didn't use him right (and our HC is both useless and an albatross on the offensive side of the football), plus the Broncos got Sanders at the perfect time in his career.

Ding, ding....
I posted months ago that his 'getting traded drama' was really an opportunity for him to get more money. When you boil it down, that's what it's always about.
Since his last deal, a few top WRs got new deals and reset the market, so instead of being happy with the deal he recently signed - making him the top paided WR in the league, he decided he would create an opportunity for himself to get a new-er/better deal, in the short-term.
F that deal I recently signed, cause there's new deals out there to pay me more...so I'm gonna get me one. And, I'll probably do it again in a year or two...watch me! That's AB's MO in a nutshell.
Like most questions in business...to find the answers, you just need to (as they say)...Follow The Money!!!

Sorry, if AB REALLY wanted to be paid, he would have worked his ass off to be a good Steeler and win a ring as a teammate... because no one will ever convince me the Steelers wouldn't have broken the bank for him when he had 1 year left on his deal.

Both Bell and AB are leaving money on the table by negotiating like maroons. No offense to Maroons, who were a really interesting indigenous culture and the namesake of the central PA team who should hold that Championship the Cardinals claim.
