If Colbert got #24 or better then he's a fucking magician.

Another $4M per year sucks, but if you're Colbert you have to play the hand you're dealt. Sucks for all of us that wanted to see AB taught a lesson and lose on this.

If it's a 3rd and a 5th that's tough to swallow. But, to be honest, I was thinking earlier today that I'd settle for an R3 when it was looking like he might be almost untradeable. Although those two picks basically add up to a late R2.

I’m hoping this news isn’t caught in a daylight savings time change time warp, only to disappear in the morning. Figured if it was going to be anyone it was going to be the Raiders. There was virtually zero chance he’d have been willing to contribute positively to the team if a trade wasn’t made.

I'd agree with you if PIT wasn't trying to win a SB. But he had about $40M left on his contract over the next 3 years....that's money for a top-tier FA.

But I'm not sure an R3 and R5 this year would really make me move him before the draft. Yeah, you want picks this year but it seems like you could do better if it wasn't a foreclosure sale.

This is going to be an interesting development for the 2020 CBA, not to mention Leveon Bell. There's a big standoff coming over shit like this and guaranteed money. The owners are going to have zero tolerance for what AB pulled.
