I'm sure Belichick will soon be praising Gilbert as one of the best right tackles in the game today...with a big shiteating grin on his face

Sure looked that way today. Not sure who played worse. Gilbert or Beachum. Zivco has it right on this one. OT is a huge concern going forward. Wondering if they clean up their sloppy and get better. I think that's all we can hope for at this point. Is there a replacement for either on the roster?

Nothing can be done about Gilbert. He's here to stay with that new C2. I want to say get a "legitimate NFL" LT and slide Beachum inside to LG and this OLine would be fixed. If only it was just that easy.

This organization simply cannot evaluate offensive line talent. They just can't.
Look at the bright side, though. At least Gilbert didn't roll up on a fellow teammate forcing him out for the season.

I wonder if Munchak was consulted about the deal.
