NFLPA Bowl: Who Do You Like?
I got media credentials for the NFLPA Bowl, so I plan to cover for at least the two days of practices and maybe the game (not sure of timing).
Let me know if there’s anyone you’d especially like me to check out.

how about Nick Kaltmayer from K-State? Big dude who was stuck behind an All American for a few years.

Yeah-- one of the first few names that stood out to me. Koby Quansah is an interesting LB... I'm not sure if he's more than a STs type and Sewo Olonilua from TCU might be a better pro than college player. Isaac Redman-ish.
Also, don't kn ow how much availability I'll get with coaches, but Rod Woodson is working as a defensive coordinator and Carnell Lake as DBs coach in the game.

The RB from TCU (Olonilua, listed as FB)
Jason Huntley, New Mexico State
Interesting to see what Berry from OSU does against that competition
Victor Johnson from App State
Nigel Warrior, DB, UTenn
and I'd expect Lewerke to show out pretty well, but interesting nonetheless.

Olonilua is a guy I liked a lot at first, like an average amount after seeing multiple games, looking forward to see what they have in mind for him and how he does here.Ice wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 11:45 amThe RB from TCU (Olonilua, listed as FB)

Olonilua looks like EXACTLY what the Steelers want in a RB IMO

“Ah, who cares about Seattle’s Space Needle? Dumb looking building, you can see the whole stupid town, built by some jagoff! Pittsburgh got Mt. Warshington, gorgeous hillside, beautiful views of the whole city, built by God…we win!” - Pittsburgh Dad

No way is Olonilua "plodding". He is a bigger back who seems to like dishing out punishment.Jobu wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:48 pmPlodding?SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:02 pmOlonilua looks like EXACTLY what the Steelers want in a RB IMO
20 years ago he wouldve been a 1st rounder.
If the Steelers are smart they will take him in the 3rd or 4th.
Perfect for what they wanna do. Run straight ahead between the hashes

I was going to say something like “ignore the first rounders”, but then I figured (a) probably won’t be any there and (b) you aren’t stupid.
Pretty interested in whatever you see, particularly WRs/TEs and front 7.

Hey guys. I will have a lengthy report from the NFLPA practices, just need a while to get It’ all written down. Also, took a lot of video.
Among the highlights: met Marvin Lewis, Kevin Wiesnieski, and walked by Rod Woodson. I put in a request for an interview with Woodson sometime in the next two days… We’ll see if they agree to that.
Probably the most interesting cat I met was a 12-year-old son of one of the team doctors who read the field better than the QBs in practice. A scout and I were laughing because he was yelling “flat flat!“ Like he was the offensive coordinator. Maybe he needs a job and is willing to come to Pittsburgh

Hey! I just goggled nflpa. That game is on nfl network tonight 7 o'clock.
I don't watch much college fb but i'll write down the players listed here and watch.
Considering fans are talking OL, TE, WR at pick #49 for starters, then depending on the FA situation DL/OLB, also RB is up there and CB depth is always welcome. Come to think about it while very good ours are ageing uh ILB also could bcome thin and I suppose S gets a call from some.
Uh! Not many areas not in play huh!
Good luck on the trip. Find us some stud players.

If you watch NFL Network ahead of 7, I’ll probably be on the field and you might see me. If I get to talk w Rod Woodson, it’ll be about a hour or before game time.
