Reportedly, that is.
I’m surprised. Real surprised. What a piece of shit.

When he sucks this season as well and they let him get on with his music we may see the end of these stupid RB contracts

I remain convinced the reason Bell was so fixated on guaranteed money is because he had no intention of playing beyond 2 more years. And mailing it in, at that.
2 years of that crap and he would have been gone from the Steelers, and probably out of the league when no one was offering more than peanuts. And from that perspective, the $35M guaranteed he stole from NYJ is a win when the Steelers probably wouldn't have paid him more than 2/3 that.

The Jets aren't without an excuse here. They attempted this with Santonio and it was a similar result. He was not nearly the player he was with the Steelers, and Mark Sanchez was no Big Ben.
Expecting Bell to perform behind the offensive line of the Jets the way he did behind the offensive line of the Steelers was either a dumb bet, or a foolish plan. Either way, blaming Bell for being out of shape to cover it up just reveals an arrogance that makes me glad I don't work for an employer like that.
That people can be so wealthy, and yet so moronic with how money is spent is perplexing. This theme is exemplified year after year in professional sports, but routinely with superstar players from the Steelers who hit the free agent market looking for their second contract.

You know it’s possible the line was bad AND Bell was out of shape.blaming Bell for being out of shape to cover it up just reveals an arrogance that makes me glad I don't work for an employer like that.
Would make sense given he was out of the game for a year.

Oh, the Jets o-line was (and is ) an embarrassment.PennyBacker wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 3:02 pmThe Jets aren't without an excuse here. They attempted this with Santonio and it was a similar result. He was not nearly the player he was with the Steelers, and Mark Sanchez was no Big Ben.

Guess what? Nobody forced Lev the Rapper to sign, for less money mind you, with a team who had 1) a vastly inferior QB and 2) a vastly inferior o-line.
He's an imbecile. A likely out of shape imbecile who has already pissed off the people who matter within his new team.
Fuck him.

I’m just waiting for the highly anticipated AB & Bell rap collaboration.
Will put Dre & Tupac to shame.

I just question his desire. NYJ needed to make a splash signing, and so appeared to end-up bidding against themselves. Interestingly, they don't seem to be accusing him of starting out-of-shape, but letting his strength and conditioning lapse as the year wore on (basically saying he gave up on the season and got fat & lazy).
Also, I think the league was figuring out Bell his last year or two. He may have lost a step and some burst (and I was never convinced of that), but defenses had gotten more disciplined at staying home.

He said he was holding out for the benefit of his brethren....I don’t think he’s doing them any favors now....actually might have the opposite effect - Management doing a double take.

Hilarious new Curb Your Enthusiasm about how a fictional LeVeon Bell injury led a golf buddy to suicide, while Larry pursues the widow's magic vagine.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

Should have kept his mouth shut bout the $500 golf bet and took it out on the widow’s magical vagina instead.
But that’s not Larry.

this is the Jets issue thankfully.
Yep. He did us a huge favor by leaving all that money on the table.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
He saved the Steelers FO from themselves.
And yet...here we are again...

Curb would have been more believable had he tapped that then asked for the 500 bucks back.
No man does anything to wreck intercourse before it happens.
Also the thing with the doctor's kid examining her wasn't believable.
Yeah, I can suspend some disbelief but the show is sometimes forced.
I did like the ugly section bit tho.
Show isn't what it was in 2003 but still worth watching.
Better Call Saul has been good so far.

I don't know who I can't stand more - Le'veon Bell or the NY Jets. People bitching about EMR (I'm one of them sometimes) should thank the football gods we have Artie instead of fucking Woody Johnson as owner. Cripes, I even think Bob Nutting is a better owner than Woody.

Exactly. I know it’s a show and all but that part bothered me too.Curb would have been more believable had he tapped that then asked for the 500 bucks back.

But then, there is a shitload of idiots in the world so there’s that.
Goes with his character I suppose.
The new ones do feel a bit forced to me as well.
