Translation: Nobody wants to give me a contract, so I'mma pretend like it was my choice to leave the NFL.
If there was a way to avoid any guaranteed money, it'd be awesome to bring AB to camp for a few days and then cut his ass.

Could be a good sign that he is doing “creative” stuff and not destructive stuff for once. Keeping himself busy.
He's gotta take up painting. I would TOTALLY pay money to go to a gallery viewing of the Antonio Brown collection (assuming they aren't all nude self-portraits).LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 2:24 amCould be a good sign that he is doing “creative” stuff and not destructive stuff for once. Obliteration Is Imminent
I better order a new nameplate for my 84 jersey after all. My thoughts lean to GROSSMAN - a pretty good tight end of a different era who took over for Benny Cunningham . The jersey was a little different then but it was the same team. Does anyone have any other suggestions for another Steeler 84 name replacement before I place my order?
Here are your options. I vote Chris Kolodziejski

I would have bought Swiss a Gym Equipment Fan Club shirt if it had been worse.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
Too much of a Shakespeare guy not to vote for Botkin.
As a teacher who's spent far too much time around freshmen and sophomores for 16 years, Dicus got some consideration, though.

If not Grossman, then it's gotta be Buddy Dial ... set a bunch of team records and 2-time Pro-bowl selection. Along with Bobby Layne and John Henry Johnson, one of the few highlights of the Steelers' lost decade of the 1960's. Also had the Pitt Stadium cannon go off in his face after scoring a TD, so there's that.blu wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 5:16 pmI better order a new nameplate for my 84 jersey after all. Sort of an Anti-AB ... good Steeler and a good guy ...
I admit I know nothing about today's rap. I still like Run DMC and The Beastie Boys. But Brown and Bell's music is just horrible to me. I can't understand how anyone finds it entertaining. Wonder how much money they've blown on there second "career".
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
Antonio makes Lev sound like Jay-Z by comparison. Lev's is trash, AB's is dumpster juice.

Mike Tomlin: Bringing mediocrity to the 'Burgh for over a decade.

And now I get middle school Latin class flashbacks. Sextus est molestis. First line of the Cambridge Latin Course textbook. Not lying. For 7th graders.StillMadAtSlobber wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 2:45 pm"Biggus Dicus"?

As this sites resident mumble rap expert, I can point out that AB pirated most of his lyrics in that song from Wiz Khalifa’s “hunnid bands”

AB pushed off enough to make Michael "The Playmaker" Irvin blush. Curious how much of that he would be permitted to get away with now that there is the challenge flag for OPI.

Thanks for all the suggestions above. I don't know if Randy Grossman was the greatest blocker for a tight end but he sure could catch. I'm just waiting a little longer to order the nameplate. I still can't get it out of mind how AB (almost) always landed his feet in bounds no matter where the rest of his body was.
