I seem to recall a poster from the old “Stillers” board with the screen name “That Thing On Kordell’s Face”.
LoL reminds me of the beetlejuice guy from Stern.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 11:32 pmBefore Ben I was a huge Slash fan.

I was lucky enough to score a Matt Cullen jersey last Spring, but I have the exact opposite problem - mine is an XL.fractalsteel wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 10:48 pmI have a signed Troy Loney puck that I have been trying to give away for years. No takers.
I have a bunch of signed pucks ranging from Crosby/ Malkin to Bryan Trottier which is my prized puck. Also, a signed Malkin authentic jersey that I found in my bag from the online charity sale the Pens run every Spring. That was a great moment for me but it was only a Medium and no way could I fit in it.
I sportslove that moment and the '76 season. The 2 time champs had awoke and come back from what many considered dead early that season with a 1-4 start and were on a very serious march towards a 3 peat, only the greatness of our toughest opponent during that NFL stretch (not the Cowboys) along with the physical, mental ,and emotional letdown of losing Franco and Rocky during our annihilation of the Colts in the divisional stopped us.
I was so hungry for greatness at the QB position again. I loved Kordell in his slash role and early in his career seemingly with the potential to do something special. I had high high hopes for him.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 11:32 pmBefore Ben I was a huge Slash fan.

Was this the 7-0 blizzard game against the Bengals? Was that in '76? Because that was one of the truly great games, right out of 1933.Havoc wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 2:54 pmI sportslove that moment and the '76 season. Yes, the 7-3 blizzard game vs the Bengals who were ahead of us in the standings. They were good. Tough game in tough conditions.Drummer Boy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 3:18 pmWas this the 7-0 blizzard game against the Bengals? Was that in '76? I liked Kordell the most when he was on the move. My recollection was he wanted to be just the QB and not Slash at all. And the Chin accommodated by making him a pocket passer. Either way it was fun watching him run and play WR when the opportunities arose.Havoc wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 3:13 pmI was so hungry for greatness at the QB position again. I have posted this before...
I remember cringing when I heard Kordell say he wanted to be a pocket passer. I knew that was a terrible mistake. Kordell was dangerous when on the move making things happen. He was ordinary from the pocket.
