I hope to visit Pittsburgh soon and I would like to get a few pictures before they are gone.

The point was for informational purposes. I was trying to find out if Franco's statue is still in the airport or did it get moved to a different location. Last time I checked Franco Harris is football and sports related.
Yes I did say war on statues. And yes judging from what I have seen locally and nationally it is a war on statues. And sadly, regardless of who or what the statue is about. Several statues have been destroyed or defaced that defy logic or a rational reason as to why. So based on that, a Franco Harris or a G.W. statue is not out of the realm of being a target. So I hope they are both safe and if I do get routed through Pittsburgh I will get my photo.CORE-TEN wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:19 pmYou said "war on statues."Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:16 pmThe point was for informational purposes. That is about the only thing I remember about the airport. That and it is located so far away from downtown.
Anyway, I hope the HOF game is still on.
A Franco Harris Statue.
Are you fucking serous?
Not saying we should burn down the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, but the Rangers do have a rather nasty history. That could be the source of the removal (not weighing in on whether the statue ought to have been removed). Who knows.Texas Black & Gold wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:50 pm
Btw, to add a little context to my OP a statue of a Texas Ranger in the Dallas Airport was removed a few days ago.
Thanks PHW, I did a little research on that particular statue and found this article.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 12:11 pmNot saying we should burn down the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, but the Rangers do have a rather nasty history. If the David Koresh Museum burned to the ground would it be just another example of life imitating art?????Donnie Brasco wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 12:24 pmThink there will be a David Koresh museum opened anytime soon?Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 2:49 amThe tie-in is that both those museum’s are in the fine city of Waco, TX.
