Stop that shit, NFL.
AFC teams should be on CBS and NFC on Fox.
Might have to try the VPN route and free NFL Europe GamePass.

Are they juggling the games to try to be equitable with the match-ups because Covid has messed things up?
Because I'd guess, if I'm CBS and I paid for AFC games, then I'd want the game with the last undefeated team.

Also, I was watching KC on Sports u rge this week and my feed was flawless. But, yeah, always have a back-up plan.
Gamepass was blocking my usual servers in Germany, and possibly France, as well. I think I ended-up getting UK or Ireland to work.

No. Over the past couple years or so CBS and Fox have been inexplicably swapping games like this.

There was a cross-flex started in 2014, networks could swap if local markets were a factor.
I know...still as annoying as shit.Steeler Owl wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:02 amThere was a cross-flex started in 2014, networks could swap if local markets were a factor.
But I ranted too soon. Fox has the doubleheader.
So I get Eagles at 1 and Steelers at 4:25.
Lol.

I was happy it was on Fox....I have a little personal boycott going on of CBS due to their money grubbing with CBS All Access. Fox App is free on AppleTV and they broadcast in 4K on the Thursday night games, sort of.jeemie wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 3:42 amI know...still as annoying as shit.Steeler Owl wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:02 amThere was a cross-flex started in 2014, networks could swap if local markets were a factor.

Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
Mostly this happens because of scheduling quirks or network commitments. The problem for this week is the Masters was rescheduled to this weekend. The Finals are Sunday so CBS will not be airing any early games on Sunday.

Can you watch live TV on the Fox app?LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 4:32 amI was happy it was on Fox....I have a little personal boycott going on of CBS due to their money grubbing with CBS All Access. Yes. Fox Sports App shows all live Fox Sports. However, you most likely have to allow location access or provide a cable provider.jeemie wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 12:30 pmCan you watch live TV on the Fox app?LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 4:32 amI was happy it was on Fox....I have a little personal boycott going on of CBS due to their money grubbing with CBS All Access. CBS app allows live TV too, but only certain cable providers. Verizon Fios is blocked from live TV for some pissing contest reason as an example.
I wonder if the Fox app is susceptible to the same spoof as All Access. I will have to check it out.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 12:54 pmYes. Fox Sports App shows all live Fox Sports. it should in theory since the spoof is not the app that it is altering but he software that the app is running through.jeemie wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:21 pmI wonder if the Fox app is susceptible to the same spoof as All Access. I believe FOX blocks all sports unless you auth with a cable or satellite provider. And they use that auth for locations.stillthere wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:51 pmit should in theory since the spoof is not the app that it is altering but he software that the app is running through.jeemie wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:21 pmI wonder if the Fox app is susceptible to the same spoof as All Access. I just tested. Fox requires you to sign in with your provider to get anything other than a preview of the live feed, it appears.SteelPro wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 2:56 pmI believe FOX blocks all sports unless you auth with a cable or satellite provider. I hate Fox. Their feeds are only in 720p I believe. Materially worse picture than CBS games.

Fox was doing doing 4K Thursday games last year actually. 720P is correct for Fox regular season, except for the 4K games on Thursday. There are of course caveats. They do have 4k cameras on site at the games, however not all the cameras are 4K, so they do something like down convert the 4K to and Hd signal, (720P again?) and then do the faux upconvert to 4K in post processing, until they get all 4K cameras for the events. So they essentially do the pixel shifts so that all 4k horizontal pixels are lit up, but some of the pixels are just duplicates shifted over and up to fill the empty pixels of a 4K canvas.stillthere wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:51 pmThey started broadcasting in 4K this year not sure about the online feed though.StillerInCT wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:26 pmI hate Fox. Don’t go betting your buddy’s with this explanation...it is broadly correct, but a 4K network engineer would probably take issue with some of my explanations.
The Masters Golf tournament on CBS is what’s affecting this Sunday’s broadcasts between the networks. Most of the games are on Fox and are later to accommodate the Covid delayed Masters.

Fox announcers spread very thin:
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers (Fox) Announcers: Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Jonathan Vilma (analyst), Shannon Spake (reporter)
Maybe we will get luck with “ OH a SPECTACULAR move by Roethlisberger” by Marv, I mean Kenny Albert.
