And let me tell you this: I’ve already heard from multiple members of the #Steelers organization about having to play the #WashingtonFootballTeam on three days rest. (These are not happy hunky dory messages.)

Every #COVID schedule change is made w/ containing spread/health as the priority, not competitive balance. But the ? I’m hearing now is: what happens when the collateral damage of a 3rd schedule change ruins any chance of the #Steelers’ competitive balance in its NEXT game?

What the NFL is signaling is if you lose a couple key players, figure out how to rule out a bunch more players so you get an accommodation. Lose your entire QB room and you get the shaft....but lose half your starting offense and they'll give you a pass!

Maybe Harbaugh is a lot smarter than we thought. Lax enforcement of protocols KNOWING a small outbreak could be more devastating to your season than a major one, because you'd rather have a game canceled or postponed than play undermanned.

If Baltimore can manage to get one of their games cancelled it will trigger a week 18 game which would add another playoff team and cancel the #1 seeds bye. Baltimore could effectively earn themselves a playoff spot as the 8 seed and screw our playoff bye by milking covid.
