Steelers at Bungles Game Comments
I have a feeling all the current gnashing of teeth will be stilled after tonight... for a while. 6 days of dry sheets!

Nope. Steelers could win by 30 and it won't mean anything to me, not against a truly awful, awful Bengals squad. I won't be putting the mattress protector back in storage until I see the Colts and Cleveland game (if it ends up mattering).bradshaw2ben wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 7:03 pmI have a feeling all the current gnashing of teeth will be stilled after tonight... for a while. 6 days of dry sheets!

Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

I keep thinking that I'm going to look back tomorrow and realize I drank too much the prior night because the Steelers escaped a team they should curb stomp.
I'm not wetting the sandbox but I expect a solid challenge from Cincy tonight.
As far as the rest of the season, why not the Steelers? I kind of like that we are riding under the current.

The truly unremarkable news is: they'll likely start Benny Snell Football in his place. After that last BSF performance, it should be shocking that he's still on this team, but I won't be surprised if he starts tonight.
All I can say is: The Steelers better get a primetime home game in the postseason to make up for the fact that they didn't get the primetime home game they were supposed to have this year--one where they played 3 of those in opposing stadiums. I say this considering how petulant the Ravens were about the Steelers getting home primetime games against Baltimore. Indy at Pittsburgh would have made for a nice flex to SNF, but instead they flexed Tennessee at GB-- this will be GB's 6th primetime game this year and the 3rd HOME primetime game for them.

In what world do think The Deuce is going to fight, much less ask for that.
I expect the D to have a great game. I'm thinking at least 5 sacks and 4 turnovers (3 INTs & one FUM).

the key player for this game and the rest of the season IMO is Highsmith
If he doesnt start getting close to DuPree's production.......we are really in a limited spot as a team

So it took Dupree quite a few years to shed the bust label and start playing at a high level.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 10:56 pmthe key player for this game and the rest of the season IMO is Highsmith

Do you really expect a rookie to produce “close” to the same level as Dupree?
Not happening. I’m hoping for him to make an occasional play and create some disruption.

I didnt say I expect him to. I said if he doesnt we are a very limited team
Without big sack/hurry numbers this defense will struggle and offensively the thing we have a mismatch with is Ben and Claypool

I just saw JuJu danicng at midfield again, what an idiot, hes quickly making me sick every time i see him.
Steve Young is an asshole.
Just started laughing about Ben saying the OL wasn't physical enough. Said "the game has changed and the problem is immobile QBs".

JuJu may not think it, but opposing players find that disrespectful.

The Oline isn’t physical enough. They need to put on their big boy pants.

HahaTexas_Steel wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:26 amDunno... maybe the entire offensive starters should do the can-can on midfield before the game, really blow that shit up.
If the Steelers beat the Bengals as badly as the Chiefs would, I think we could feel good about that. Especially since that would mean the offense was working for the first time in weeks.Professor Half Wit wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 7:21 pmNope. You’re not wrong either. I meant what Young says about the QBs. And trust, he turns my stomach every time I see him on the screen...obnoxious douchebag.Orangesteel wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:26 amThe Oline isn’t physical enough. They need to put on their big boy pants.
It's hilarious he's trying to build a brand. Half his followers are going to leave when he's on another team next year. And the rest the day he retires.
If he really wants to supplement his income he needs to produce better numbers on the field. Really not a lot of endorsement deals out there for non-top 10 receivers.
Claypool might have some opportunities in Canada, so maybe JuJu is angling to be his talent manager.

The big news. Its all about Antonio. Oops I mean juju tic toc dance.
Now I’m by an old geezer, but what kind of brand does one build by dancing on a football field?Kodiak wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 12:32 amIt's hilarious he's trying to build a brand. Half his followers are going to leave when he's on another team next year. And the rest the day he retires.
