I contacted DirecTV looking for any promo's going on. The individual I spoke with said there's a promo for loyal customers (I've been with DirecTV over 10 years). They gave me NFL Sunday Ticket for FREE this season as a loyal customer perk.
If you have DirecTV call and see if you can get this as well.

S72 will be so happy
I’m expecting 20 paragraphs about fingerbanging his girlfriend in 1967 at Vinnies while watching a preseason game on a bw tv mounted in the corner

Is there a promo code or magic word other than, "I want to cancel my Sunday Ticket?"

Thanks for heads up. I’m growing tired of haggling with those bastards every year but is what it is.
Directtv was much better to deal with before AT&T bought them.

No. I was talking with the CS Rep and he brought it up to me.

Tried calling today but no luck.
Going to try again in August and see what happens.
I want it free this year
Anyone got any other tips? Special phone numbers?

Considering at least half the games are usually on national TV, you really shouldn't accept anything more than $120. You can buy inidividual weeks for about $20-25, or in past years you could get NFL Gamepass for the year with a student sub for $99.
I get tired of switching cable providers for promo pricing, but if the only reason you have DirectTV is for Sunday Ticket, then it's time to move on.
On a related note, should be interesting when I try to negotiate my cable package again in a few weeks. I've already quit them at least twice in the past, so they know it's not an idle threat when I tell them I'm leaving. So when their marginal cost per customer is almost zero, they're literally going to let me walk (again) over the difference for new customer promo pricing (which is like $60 difference). It's amazing how bad some companies are at cost/benefit analysis.

I called on Friday, they said I have it for free for being a loyal customer. I did ask for retention when prompted by the automated tell us why you are calling today.

Yeppers….Got the SundayTicket University package…think this is my 5th year in a row. It is now a $120 I believe. Got it coupled with GamePass. Had to move on from Donovan Johnson and now use Caleb Dorsey to get the deal. TEAMHUDDLE promo code gets ST down to $96. Gamepass is still $50 with the bundle. If you have good Internet, it can’t be beat for non-TV package folks (aka cord cutters), especially with CBS being nazis with needing to pay for Paramount+. The option above is the sweet spot for me when trying to balance cost and aggravation in DC metro area, a non Pittsburgh market. No VPNs, DNS, Facebook groups, or YouTube channels.
And the real question is when are these bastards, the networks, going to stick their stubby arms into their deep pockets and start broadcasting the games in 4K. It has been several years now. 4K conversion is taking much longer than the HD conversion did. Fox is really the only network that has done it, and it is still a lame FauxK 4K.

100%. I actually thought DTV had some of the best customer service before the AT&T deal. My issues were always resolved with one call. Now with AT&T, that's a totally different story. Everything has become a clusterfuck over there.

I'm pretty sure Direct TV is expiring after 2022 and not getting renewed after...i heard Amazon will be the main target at 2-2.5 billion per year.
Aren't they slowly taking all of the Thursday night games?

LOL about Paramount+. "Cord cutting" is an entirely different thread. I know some people don't have options, but my bundled internet/tv service is substantially cheaper than the cord cutting options. But of course my sub doesn't include Paramount+.
Anyway, I've been pretty happy with Gamepass, but my beef is 1-2 games every year are almost unwatchable because of bandwidth issues. They'll charge you $25 for the game, but apparently can't provide sufficient service for the demand. I'm an adult with a job so I don't need free feeds, but when the quality of the free feeds is superior to the paid product....

Exactly on cord cutting. There is no such thing. If you are a non-TV package person, with just naked internet, your subscription counts and subscription dollars just go up.
The only true cord cutter would be someone with a 5G iPhone or 5G Galaxy streaming to a smart TV via an app or hot spot, which I bet would get into throttling issues by the end of the month. I am a mile from a full bar 5G signal…it is impressively fast. But again your subscription counts and dollars just go up.

I have to check out if Paramount+ still has the Chrome glitch.
