Steelers vs Bengals Game Comments
Re: Steelers vs Bengals Game Comments
I don't care if they were blitzing everyone. You don't call that play to the RB on 4th down and goal from that far out. Have to call a throw to the EZ there on 4th down.
Howard Griffith had to resort to chop-blocking him during the 1997 AFC Championship Game. An incredulous Kirkland asked Griffith, “Why do you have to use cheap tactics like chop-blocking?” Griffith replied “Why do you have to be a 300-pound linebacker?”
And it wasn't even a dump off or check down. That was the call. BR didn't even look elsewhere. Looked like some one was open in front of the goal posts.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are, the pigeon is going to shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.
What the hell is Ray Ray doing today?
If you watch the replay, it's a hot read and the whole defense is moving left....not a great throw, but the defense adjusted quick.jewelsongs wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 7:58 pmFire Ben for being a dumb ass and not throwing to the end zone. No way that was the call.
Perhaps the better question is why you even have an outlet like that in that situation. Seems like a waste of a player.

I cannot believe he threw that ball to Harris there.
I don't give a fuck about the brainless call.
Ben has to know he has to throw the ball to the end zone.

I also have to say that the call on claypool for blocking in the end zone was bullshit. Two massive calls resulting in a 7 points and 7 non points.

That was “they’re showing blitz and there’s no way my OL can hold up” and then when the blitz didn’t come, it looks stupid as hell. Blame it on PTSD.

He's playing for the check now in his last go round.

Ben got fooled. He thought they were bringing the heat and went hot, but the Bengals dropped out.
Tiny hands, smaller heart.

I don't disagree, but I think he's also rushed because of the OL.
He holds the ball a split second longer it's an easy TD. Hard to believe he makes that throw 10 yds short of the sticks on 4th down.
But, honestly, the only way things are going to change is if Ben keeps running the same failed playcalls.

It did look designed, or at least that was Ben's read from the snap.
Of course, Ben with the passive aggressive body language after the shitty decision

WTF. Just kneel down if you aren't going to try to throw it downfield. The surrender continues.

After that give up play by Ben on 4th down, I hope they're dropping these passes on purpose.
