Ben Milestone
Not a huge deal but with a victory in Atlanta Ben will join Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Kerry Collins in having beaten 31 different NFL teams. Manning and Favre are the only 2 who have beaten all 32 NFL reams. Collins never beat the Dolphins. Brees had a chance to join the 32 wins club had he beat the Ravens earlier this season on MNF. Brady and Ben should never have the chance to beat all 32 teams but you never know.

One of these names is not like the others...
But this is good. Milestones like this seem to motivate Ben.

Kerry Collins was probably too drunk to remember beating at least 17 of those teams anyway.

Thanks for posting I wondered how close he was.
If he beats Atlanta, what team is left?

This was worthy of two BHPJRs (trademarked by Clemson).

Should have beat those fuckers in 2006.
Still can't believe no penalty was called on the play that left Ben concussed.

My wife is from the ATL, I've sworn payback after the '03 tie, while she wears B&G now...it hasn't come yet, unless ive missed 1.
Hoping for a reversal of fortune Sunday.

Didn't we beat the Falcs four years ago on a Mendy TD run?

Ben probably would have beaten ATL in 2006....got knocked out very early in H2 - after 16/22 for 238 and 3 TD's - and Batch ended-up losing in OT. Was maybe the first prolific game of Ben's career, but got cut short.
We beat ATL in 2010 but Ben was suspended to "protect the shield"/

Ben also passed Boomer Esiason in the Bengals home stadium for 16th on the career passing yardage list last week. Crazy to think about but Ben is about 1 good year away from being Top 10 in career yardage and TD passes.

I will be happy when we can move on from him and find a new franchise QB.

You're right, OT game in 2010.
Still, it seems like these games always go down to the wire.

I don't see the relevance of stats like this. Does anybody record this kind of stat for positions other than QB? A quarterback doesn't win or lose a game by himself.
“ But Brian was the quarterback. He lay on the ground like a sniper had shot him, so they threw me out. It’s big entertainment now, protect the quarterback, $200 to your favorite charity.”

I'd say it's a mark of consistency and longevity - most guys would get maybe 2-3 cracks the teams in the other conference in their career. That list is 4 HOFer, guys widely considered among the best to ever play the position.
Kerry Collins might kind of ruin that, but he started 113 games in the NFC and 63 games in the AFC. He also started games in 4 different divisions. I'm guessing Collins doesn't make the cut for beating 31 other teams with the same club.

Interesting milestone...I wonder how many QBs have beaten every team in their era (Bradshaw, Staubach, Stabler, Montana, Marino, Elway, Unitas...).
