Sounds like a ringing endorsement of the worst coaching staff in pro football.
Well done Tomlin; already breaking Kenny just halfway through his first season.

And here I was thinking our coaching staff was working 80 hour weeks studying game film.

Wait am I supposed to believe that a team that was guilty of an illegal formation penalty on a kickoff is not familiar with or otherwise pay attention to details?

Egghead Jr. wants to do more work!
Good grief this is going to be a long and miserable trip thru the wilderness!
Kenny has to do this or he is fucked for life.
Everyone knows it, he is the alpha, he must speak up. Coach is the beta douche and has no role any longer. He could handle Ben, but Kenny might prove to be a tough one to deal with for Coach.
I like it, but rough waters ahead for the young QB. Does he have the intestinal fortitude to deal with a fuckhead like Coach Mike, or will he give up and roll with the stupidity and garbage.
What JuJu said about Coach Mike and his acumen at the lab of football was enlightening.

So what you are telling me is Mike Tomlin drafted Kenny Flick! Hopefully Tomlin will be throwing the milkshake at Kenny’s limousine as he pulls away from South Side facility!langer wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 10:17 pmKenny has to do this or he is fucked for life.

I could go either way on this comment from Kenneth
Maybe deep down he is sniveling little bitch who can’t handle adversity
Maybe he is trying to take the bull by the horns and earn some leadership of the team
I’m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt initially but if he continues too much farther down a path that doesn’t put the lions share of horrible QB play and horrible win/loss record on himself I will be done with Kenneth permanently

It’s known that since Arians was removed that Ben took things into his own hands, Tomlin couldn’t do shit, Ben is Ben.
Now Tomlin and the staff is getting called out by their new QB who is a couple of decent seasons away from $250 Million if he wins.
I would take the bull by the horns too, there is only one path….

Good for Kenny in saying this—and all of which all of us know is true. Shows leadership. Kenny needs to improve, but I’d rather see this attitude than a deer-in-the-headlights one.

So much of that is spent deciding which direction to run Najee on the first play of the game and designing 2-yard plays for Derek Watt.the-other-burg wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 9:56 pmAnd here I was thinking our coaching staff was working 80 hour weeks studying game film.

I personally like false starts, illegal formations and illegal men downfield penalties.
I also like utilizing the same horrible offensive “scheme” week after week.
Offense is ready to GO OFF!
Could be a crushing, possibly career-ending blow to the psyche. STD fandom is the most underrated element in professional football. Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
It only took him a few games before he, the rookie 1st round QB, felt he had to say something in public blasting the entire team. That strikes me as curious.
That possibly means that the administration of the team is way worse than people think and the reality of the locker room is a disaster.
How can a team rebuild without rebuilding everything.

I doubt the lockerroom is as bad as many of you surmise. I’m sure it isn’t joyous. Lol
I don’t blame Kenneth at all for speaking out but all of you have to admit it could also be a significant crack in his façade.
A lot of what is gonna make or break Kenneth is how does he handle losing ?? A bad OC ?? A laisez-faire HC ?? Etc etc
Zero TDs 8 Ints is significantly bad and if that doesn’t improve notably regardless of a poor OC Kenneth won’t be a starter in the NFL

Actions probably tell the tale more than words in a presser. If team mates observe KP being a maniacical obsessively hard worker, putting in maniacical hours to get better, I don’t think his words are going to damage him in the locker room.

If you think of the past... hell go back 3-4 years now.
Ben's success literally has come when he took over, either from a no-huddle, or just calling up plays not in that week's playbook.
Has there been many, if any at all, that this team won in the first half via the offense?
The "come back" success, Ben's 4th qtr games... they've all come when the offensive gameplan was ditched, and let's be honest, the first 3 qts of those games look very much like what we see today, regardless of the quarterback. The luxury the steelers had with Ben is that when he finally took the keys because it was clear this stupidity put forth by the coaching staff wasn't going to work, he had the experience and ability to literally put plays together on the fly to do what the the f-ing coaching staff couldn't do over the course of the entire week.
This coaching staff is losing the players, and fast... and it's not in a "he's too tough of on me" or "they took away our ping pong table"... it's a "these fuckers don't know shit" way.
